So far so good, It doesn't tell you any instructions, and I know it is pretty straight forward, but if you don't put the pieces together like the photo, the pin won't go through.

That's a hook.
I like the design and durability of the hook Soo much I brought 3. The color looks awesome. I wanted the yellow but was not available. It feels like a hook should and It exceeds the weight capacity of the prior hook so no fears of a broken hook flying thru the air.
