Anji Mountain Wood Chair Mat, 44 x 52", Natural

When my wife insisted upon buying the first one I was very skeptical it would last since we installed it over a deep pile carpet with thick pad. First one has had heavy use for 18 months now and still like new in structure and finish. When I expanded to a 2nd office this was a no brainer to buy it again. Only reason for not 5 stars is, I am still just a crusty ole coot who can't believe this thing is going to last. Too good to be true.

This floor mat arrived when promised and also as promised is a beautiful dark cherry color. I would have been happy to give it five stars however my one issue is that I wish there had been an option for a longer lip. I say this because when I am seated at my desk with the sides of the mat completely against the desk the lip only protrudes in about nine inches therefore my feet are always hanging partially over the edge so there is this strange tottering feeling all the time. If the lip were about six inches longer this mat would have been perfect and received five stars from me.

I was sent the wrong size so It doesn't have the part on mine that should slide under the footspace on the desk it is just squared off. This causes a problem because now the edge is getting torn up pretty quickly from the office chair rollers falling off of it. It looks nice but I think will be destroyed in a short amount of time. Also it moves a little each time you back up your chair so after 2 to 3 days you have to get everything off of it to move it forward again. It is completely on a rug on all parts.

Bought it May 2017 (3+ yrs ago) and waited...look at photo. Perfect - not a single sign of wear after daily use since 2017. This is the thicker 8mm version.

I actually love these for my carpet. The plastic ones always break and these just look so classy. Beautiful

These look damn cool. Especially compared to the usual nerd-herd plastic. I have a Herman miller chair and when I first got the bamboo floor mat, I was disappointed to see it wasn't hard enough to handle without scratches as you slide across it. But nonetheless I've gotten used to it and still like it. Would love an ipe wood version or something that could man up a bit more.

Love this chairmat. I like the width of the slats which makes for easy moving. I previously had a plastic mat which cracked. This one is much more durable.

This was advertised as for use on carpet. It’s a great chair mat but moves with each use and is heavy, making it hard to put back in place.
