Masterchem 41125 Hammerite Rust Cap Hammered Enamel Finish, 12 Oz Aerosol Can, 18 Sq-Ft/Gal, Dark Blue, Bule

This paint has a very good finish when applied in several thin coats. Then hit it with 1 final heavy coat to get a nice even hammered look. The spray nozzle has a wide spray pattern that is great for small projects. The only problem I ran into is some dripping out of the spray nozzle. The drops were carried onto the project and splattered onto the surface. I had to wipe the nozzle dry after every other short spray burst. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Also, the fumes are not too bad. Actually smells kind of sweet, not overpowering like other brands.

Makes a good rust primer paint for my truck. Seals the rust in. I plan to paint over it with the original color and clear coat this spring but holding up better than anything else I have tried so far during Michigan winters.

This is junk. Don’t waste your money. For the very steep price per can I thought this would have been at least a little more durable than regular spray paint. I was wrong. We bought 15 cans of this to paint our patio furniture set. It looked beautiful at first. But now less than a year later every piece is chipping in many places. We are not rough with this furniture. It barely gets used.

I thought 'brand name' spray paint was all the same, but this stuff is wonderful. I have used several colors of Hammered Rustoleum and each worked well, but this stuff is one step above. Better coverage, more consistent spray, more color options at a higher price, but for one-off projects it was very worth while (I restored a vintage gum ball machine and this color was dead on). Would gladly buy more if needed.

This paint is amazing, it looks really good, I used it to spray my sub box and it came out better than expected. It is a little pricey but honestly you get what you pay for.

Five years ago I painted a metal arbors and it needed touch up. I could not find the matching color in any store. I ordered it online and it arrived 3 days later. The paint is very protective and lasting. I recommend this brand over others.
