Training the Sheep Dog

I bought this because I own a sheep dog and I wanted to try and get more of an understanding. This is a high level book that contains good tips and information but as I don't own sheep I wont be using it to train in that respect. Its an easy read though and I picked up some good tips in general IRO general training so overall I found it a worthwhile read. Could always get it from the library if you're not sure. Its not a long book.

this is the first book about sheepdogs iv read but i found it really good i have lernt a lot reading it and it trys to keep to the point it does lack a little depth in to why you need to do this and that but its a definite must for a newcomer i know i will read it again to refreash my memory

Written in an easy to read fashion.Easy to dip in and out of or to pick out parts which are important for yourself and your dog.Good if you want to advance to shepherding /working commands, useful for BC training if you are not planning to work them.

I purchased this book for my cousins boy who had just received a collie pup. He has said that this book is very informative and a very useful guide for training Rosie.
