43185 Hammerite Rust Cap Hammered Bronze Enamel Paint, Quart

Love it. These colours are hard to get a tone or shade just right. Black is a charcoal-silver, Bronze is a grey, dark bronze is a dark grey. I added some copper mica pigment to the bronze to give it a brownish tint to it, I could have used an ounce and it might have been perfectly grey-brown.. Stll a nice colour. these quart cans go a very very long long way and are all well worth the money. I have purchased all of the available colours from both Hammerite and Rustoleum and am happy with each and every one of them.Painted sway bars, control arms, brackets dust shields calipers in a n awesome colour scheme and its wow. Big wow. will never rust ever, cant chip off.

Used this to paint a twisted wrought iron railing. This paint is not your garden variety latex! Reminds me off the stuff you would have painted a wheelbarrow with 50 years ago to protect against tornado damage! Didn't know they could still legally manufacture stuff like this as it seems highly toxic. I had better luck with a little thinning and as another review stated once you get used to it the results are very good. I used it outdoors and if you don't you'll need to open a lot of windows. Good stuff and although I just finished the railing yesterday it appears that this paint will last for years!!

Came out looking great, although Bronze is more of a metallic silver color. It is a thick paint and hard to work with, but the hammered effect helps with this. My suggestion is to wear a respirator (not a dust mask) when using this paint, the fumes are very strong.

could not get this paint anywhere else

This stuff is really cool. It is easy to use. Oil based product so the smell is strong but tolerable. I am a professional painter and used this in a clients house on a cove molding. It sets it off beautifully.

Very nice finish. Applied with a brush. Color was not quite copper, had a silver hue to it , but still very nice. Use on old aluminum frame set.

Finish is different than Rustoleum.....like it much better.

One of the last few great paints, awsome feel, look and great protection for any surface.
