Recommend for daily use ...
Bought these for daily use to build muscle and improve overall fitness. How: begin with one weight strapped to each leg. Wear throughout the day. Also, wear while exercising. Leg lifts and yoga. For everyone this will be different. Add one weight every month or when the previous weight no longer feels slightly heavy. I figure for me maybe this is once a month. By the end of the year I’ve increased daily weight use and increased my metabolism. After purchasing this set have decided to repurchase for use on wrists. Although, I’m not able to easily hide these outside of the house. Can use throughout my day. While doing exercises and yoga. Same principle as leg use. Add one weight at a time. Increase to another weight when I no longer notice the previous heaviness. My goal is overall increase in muscle and fitness plus physical well being. For me, this is the #noexcuses fitness 😁 I have other things I do like Row, lift, yoga, cycle, step, chin ups (for this charge myself a toll to move through rooms of a chin up). All these are possible with easy to own equipment that can fit in an apartment to a house. I’m not certain why other buyers have worn out their weight pouches so easily. I’m attempting to envision how to abuse them and can’t come up with any ideas with appropriate use. This system seems perfect for long term use. The material is thick and sturdy. Weights are easily removed. Easy to reinsert. Depending on your goal, these can be a wonderful accompaniment to your fitness regiment and life. One criticism that doesn’t cost a star, Amazon packed these weights with other items. Which, broke the box food was in. Yogurt packs to be exact. Also, the weights box also fell apart. I’d recommend packaging this item separately and mailing it contained in its own box with some insulation. To ensure no damage to packaging or another items it’s shipped around. Super happy with this product. Have recommended to others with the same philosophy of use.

extremely durable, well-fitting, and easily adjusted
These weights are nearly perfect. I'll give them 4.5 stars and round up since they're so much better than the competition (which I have also tried). First of all, I love being able to adjust the weight in such small increments. I use these when weightlifting for targeting smaller muscles like shoulders, since my dumbbells only go up in 5 pound increments. For example I'm currently doing a shoulder exercise at 18.85 pounds (15 pound dumbbells plus these weights at 3.85 pounds). For certain exercises a change in as little as 0.55 pounds (one of the bars in these) can make a significant difference. The thing to understand about these weights is that the actual weight is provided by metal bars, unlike most wrist/ankle weights which use sand bags for weight. As a result, these weights are MUCH easier to adjust and MUCH more durable, which justifies the higher cost in my opinion. With a normal wrist/ankle weight, it can be hard to get the sand bags back in after you've taken them out, whereas these bars slide easily back in, which is key if you change the weight several times in a session. I also found these weights to be MUCH better/tighter/smaller fitting than the other weights I tried. The other weights I tried were loose at certain points and it was hard to get a consistent thickness around my wrist. By contrast these fit snugly around my wrist (I am an average size male, but the size is adjustable). There are no straps, you just wrap it around and it attaches using a long piece of velcro. The lack of straps also make these quicker to put on and take off. It's also easy to roll these up tightly for transportation or storage. Last night I packed them up in my suitcase to take them with me for Thanksgiving and they didn't take up much space at all. Note that while some of the reviews complain about the metal ends sticking out and rubbing against one's skin, this has been fixed in the newer model (as you can see in the photo). The bars are now fully covered with a new flap that also attaches using velcro. I have two minor criticisms which is why I rated 4.5 instead of 5: 1. When I first received the package, I couldn't remove any of the bars from one of the two pieces. They were basically stuck inside... maybe the piece had been in storage too long. I shook the piece up and down for about 5 minutes and was eventually able to dislodge the pieces one by one. Now I can insert/remove the pieces easily. 2. I think it's a bit strange that the weights are 0.55 pounds each, not a round number like 0.5 pounds. It's not a big deal but my preference would have been 0.5. Maybe they do that so they can get it up to 5.5 pounds each instead of only 5, which might be better for other people. It's not a big deal at all, though. Get these!

Great ankle weights, but...
I love the ankle weights - they're versatile, easy to use and change out the weights, and well designed. My only issues are that I've had these now since Oct. 2020 and by July 2021, the Velcro is already less sticky. I do have some minor instances of fiber in the Velcro loops so some of this is probably user error. But even when I've picked out the fibers, the Velcro just doesn't have the stickiness that it used to have. This seems like a short amount of time to have this happen. Just as an basis point, I use these weights probably 3 x per week. Additionally, I have boney ankles and the weights need to be adjusted so they don't dig into the bones in my ankle. But overall, as I said, I really like these weights. I even use the individual weights in my hand, alone or in conjunction with other weights (yes, it does take a bit of adjustment to come up with the right grip) but these have been very helpful in recovery from a shoulder injury.

Compact, comfy, good for progression
I love these! I have the 5 lb (10 lbs total) ankle weights. I have been wearing these all day long for 2 months now, at home and at work delivering for Amazon. I go on walks and do basic movements with them, but not really any high impact activities. I started at 0.5 lbs each and now I'm at 2 lbs each. The product is amazing. Good for progression. The weights are about 0.5 lbs each and are easy to measure. Iron was used instead of sand, so the weights are more compact and don't bulge out everywhere. I've been able to wear them inside my pant legs and so far they've fit pretty snug inside, from sweat pants to joggers to work pants. The bands are pretty soft and comfy. There are no signs of tearing from the weights so far. A downside to me is that sometimes the bands sink and spin the weights around onto my ankle bones, and its very uncomfortable then. But after a little readjusting its fine again. Maybe a little more padding at the bottom would be nice. Imo, a 5/5 product. I want to order more!

Ok weights for light to moderate use.
I have been using product since June 2025, today 02/18/2026 the tie downs ripped apart from the weights. Otherwise ok for regular weight lifting, not so good for running, should have at least two straps and the straps should me more durable and wider. Design not so good, but usable. No way to return, past return period.

Best option for adjustable heavy ankle weights
Without getting into the specifics, I’ve been using ankle weights as part of my exercise routine for more than a year and have been frustrated by how poorly constructed they are for a top-rated, competing brand. The problem with nearly all other brands of heavy ankle weights is that they use bags of sand or iron filings to provide for adjustable weights. These bags settle, with sand pooling in the lower part of the weight, or they separate into two halves that flop around. The heavier the weight, the worse other brands perform. It would seem there’s a reason most ankle cuff weights top out at five pounds or 2.5 kg per ankle. I was ready for more. Unlike with other brands, these ankle cuff weights use solid metal rods that can be combined to provide up to ten pounds of weight per ankle. The weights don’t shift around or separate during use. They’re absolutely stable. Others have complained that the weights are just about impossible to remove, once inserted, but I’ve not found that to be the case. The individual weights slide in easily, and they slide out just as easily. Most importantly, the weights are comfortable during use, even with prolonged use. I wish I’d discovered these weights first, as I couldn’t be happier with them.

Just what I needed
This has been a great help for my physical therapy for my knee. I didn't know what size weights to buy to rehab my knee. I only had a 2 lb weight and it was too heavy to start out. I didn't know if I needed a one pound weight or 1 1/2 pound weight so I got this to avoid buying a bunch of separate weights. I love it because for my first day I used one pound, then the second day I was able to use one and a half pounds. As my knee gets stronger I can easily add more weight. I wish it was not quite so long and maybe the fabric a little softer. But realistically, I think the fabric had to be stiff and a little long to hold the half pound weight bars. A softer fabric would probably rip too easily. Once I have this on, the fabric and the length are really not an issue and it is very comfortable. I am very happy with this and it is helping tremendously with my recovery. My Physical Therapist sells this exact same weight set, but it's a little more expensive. I'm glad I found this on Amazon.

good
Good. Because the weights are narrow they fit close to the leg. It feels firm since there are 2 straps. Would buy again for a friend.

Absolutely wonderful
Such a versatile product. Easy to slip the little weights in and out of the pockets. Better than the bags in other adjustable weights that are slightly cheaper. This set is totally worth the money. I bought 3 sets.

Buena calidad, muy útil
Me gustaron bastante estas polainas ya que permite jugar mucho con el peso ya que puede ajustarse cada 200 gramos y eso permite usar en brazos y tobillos. Personalmente las uso para rehabilitación. Recomendadas.
