Quite Good Overall
After having used an entire container of this product, some observations.Cons: Because this is a “dry-look” product, it truly is quite dry from the get-go, and it seems the more airspace in the jar, the drier the product becomes. When new, it is still fairly easy to apply (at least to short hair), but the longer you have this jar in use, the stiffer the substance becomes. It really begins to remind you of the clay that’s in it, and by the end, you will need some water to help with the application. Otherwise, you will end up with light streaks or patches in your hair. Also, the scent it not the greatest, but not bad, either; it’s not a strong scent, which I think is good.Pros: Two main reasons I wanted to try this product: 1) none of the typical mass-product ingredients that can be potentially harmful, 2) the dry-look quality. As I’m really not a fan of the greasy hair look, I found this product to afford plenty of hold while being almost invisible. (You just need to make sure you spread the product out evenly to avoid those light streaks I mentioned earlier. It may be best to apply this to slightly damp hair.) This is not the kind of stuff you would use to just lightly smooth out your hair. It provides quite an aggressive hold, depending of course also on the amount you use. I felt I got what I was looking for, and would buy this again, but first I’ll be trying out another product by the same company.

Great product
I've been using this product for over two years now. Works in dry climates, works in wet climates, works in cold climates, works in hot climates. I've seen that other users have trouble with the clay getting dry. All you have to do is sprinkle some water in the container when you're done and it stays nice and moist. I have developed a routine, I apply it to my drying but still wet hair, then my hands are sticky so I wash them off, sprinkle a little water in the container with the clay, then close the container and dry my hands.

Nice look
I have very hard to control hair. I used to use a spiking gel just to get decent hold for a conservative look. I use this over wax (applied when dry), and it works well, giving a much more natural look, of course, than the gel. The amount used is crucial, and takes some experimentation.

My first one was awesome. Ordered it again recently and it's like clay ...
My first one was awesome. Ordered it again recently and it's like clay that you can't do anything with for your hair - way to hard and it won't absorb into your hair. Total bummer because the first time I ordered, it was awesome.

Works well for medium length hair
Works very well, better than most I've tried.

Not what the doctor ordered
I have medium-long and very thick hair that I like to spike up and sort of off to the side a little. This product has a good strong hold and is easy to apply but it makes my hair very fluffy like and hard to work with together. It seems to separate strands of hair rather than what I want it to do and group them somewhat. If you want a very loose and strong spike, this is great...otherwise keep looking.

great quality
Could never get the buy one get one free thing to work, but its worth the $15 price tag on its own. Hold is great, lasts all day, smells good, no harsh chemicals, what more could you want (besides two for one!)!?
