Puppy Pen
This was a good purchase. I needed a place to confine my new puppy. This fit the bill. It is big enough for a larger type puppy. It is tall enough for my adult smaller dogs. Seems well built with a door to make it easier to let puppy come and go as it grows and becomes housebroke. All in all a good deal.

This pet pen would be perfect for us to use with our small dog: but the rods were left out of box.
We really like this pet pen for our family farmhouse to control our elderly pet; but they didn't send the white rods in the box to connect the panels. Who should we talk to Amazon to get the white rods sent to us?

Nice Roomy Play Pen For My Angora Rabbits
I ordered this for my English Angora rabbits to play in. I have several Ware Clean Living Small Animal Playpen (Link: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000OX8AG4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1) for my rabbits, but I haven't bought any in a few years because the price has more than doubled. The good thing about the Ware playpens is that the bunnies cannot climb out, the pens are very light, easy to move, easy to fold flat. Very very convenient.I decided to try this pen out & there are things about it that I like more than my Ware pens, it is after all designed for larger animals, but it does have some downsides. My biggest complaint is that you cannot fold this up like you can the Ware pens. The best I can do is leave two panels intact & fold them. Even then they don't fold completely flat. So this means I have to reassemble this every time I want to use it. Running my own organic farm with crops & fiber animals is an incredible amount of work, anything that increases my work load is not appreciated. This is also much heavier, so moving around to fresh pasture isn't as convenient. The pen is plastic. Belch. My Ware pens are metal. The last annoying thing was the directions. Color me stupid, but I couldn't make sense of part of the doors hardware. I had to look at the one lonely product picture to have my eureka moment. What I like. It's sturdy & strong - much more so than my Ware pens. It provides a larger play area then my Ware pens. This is made in the USA, not China! Amazeballs! I was beginning to think nothing was made in the good ol' USA anymore - unless I shop on Etsy or the farmers market. While I do have my complaints, this is a good play pen & I am for the most part happy with it. Really, my biggest complaint is the time to set it up & take it down every day. Aside from that, this has been a welcome addition to my farm. My bunnies love it. I'm looking forward to my Mama bunnies (does) & their kits (baby bunnies) doing binkies & all sorts of other antics in this pen thanks to the extra room. So far none of my buns have climbed out. If this happens, I will put a cover over it (a light blanket/shower curtain/ etc. work great & they provide shade when/if needed).

Very adaptable...
The media could not be loaded. This has been very useful in keeping the cat corralled, lol. But you don't have to make a round structure - you can do a square or a long rectangular lane (like a kennel run) or a rhombus. Putting it together is a cinch - you simply line 2 panels up and slip a rod down the "hinge" and you are done - move to the next section. The door took a bit of time to figure out as I did not get any instructions that I could find in my box or bags. So it took me a total of 18 minutes to figure it out and get it put together, by myself.I think I have the door installed properly, or at least it works for me. I like that the one piece of metal can keep the door from being pushed open from the inside, so the animals can't get out by being pushy. As a farm-girl I learned to make gates that open inward when you can so that livestock can't push the gate open on you and get out. So this bit keeps the door from being pushed open - it opens inward for me.I got this with the cat in mind. He really wants to go out, but house-cats are a terrible thing to turn loose on a wildlife garden like we have (and one of the the biggest threats to many endangered or threatened small species and birds), so in the past he has just had to suffer and be an indoor cat. But now he has a small, safe space all his own outdoors. He can watch the wildlife and not interact with it. He can get fresh air without being at risk of eating our poisonous garden plants. Did you know that if you really get down to brass tacks, there are more plants in our ornamental gardens that have some sort of toxicity or danger, then there are friendly, harmless plants? And most cats love to gnaw on plants- my cat has made a religious law: "Thou shalt not suffer a plant to have leaves". Mine picks the leaves off and spits them out. He isn't eating them, but he could still get sick or burn his mouth, so I want him protected and this fits the bill. Because he can jump and climb, I use a spare panel over the top and use a bit of wire to attach it to the pen so he can't get out. Then I throw something over to give him some shade. And add a towel for comfort and a bowl of water. The first couple of times he wasn't so keen on it (even crying, which he doesn't really ever do), but now he goes out and lays down and soaks up some sun or chatters his teeth at the birds he can't catch. The four pieces used are easy enough for me to carry and I can sort of flatten it to get it through the door when play-time is over. Two of the pieces we don't use for the cat pen get used to keep our 17 year old dog from trying to go up the stairs by himself. It isn't elegant, but it is an awkward area to try to gate off and this is the best solution we have found. When we leave the house we just pull that over the stair like in the pic and the keeps him from attempting the stairs. When we don't need them, they fold together almost flat and store next to the stair.Realistically, unless it was crate-trained, a big dog is not going to be happy in this, and really, this isn't suited to larger animals in general as they are powerful enough to knock this around and probably get out unless you stake these down with landscape pins or otherwise figure out a way to secure it. No mini-goats, a goat would get out of this in no time, flat, and chew it up to boot. Not sure about the mini-pigs, but I think a mature potbelly could bull their way out. Small dogs could get their muzzles in between the grids and chew their way to freedom, if they really wanted to do so - but it would take them some time to do so. I think larger rodentia, like rabbits or guinea pigs or maybe even fowl would do well in these, provided you cover the top with at least a net.I'd limit it to animals under 25-30#. I'd also not leave it outside for extended periods of time - this sort of plastic doesn't age well outdoors. Use it, then bring it in would be my recommendation if you want it to last for years to come. The build was pretty good, and except for the sprues I had to cut from around the door-frame (see video) and the lack of directions, this is pretty decent. Made of the same sort of plastic that kitchen trashcans are made of.I would have been happier if the metal hardware had matched the white pen, but it doesn't. And I have 4 bags of black rubber things that I can't for the life of me figure out where they go. And there were no instructions and I had to clean off manufacturing sprues myself. So because of these things, something I would have gladly given 4 stars to, gets dropped to 3 stars. I'd rather do a 3.5, but Amazon only does whole stars, and I know it will be well reviewed by others, so I will err on the side of being critical and award 3 stars.I hope this review helped you!Gratefully received through the 🌿Vine Program🌿 for my *honest and unbiased* review. If my opinion changes, I will be sure to update this review.
