Serves its purpose. The wire actually looks a little thicker than the similar one at Pottery Barn, so I ordered this one (I preferred the 4' length as well anyway). I have only had this up for a week or so, but I haven't had any problems with cards falling out. It does feel a little pricey for what you are getting, but this is the best way I have found to display Christmas cards without having to get all Pinterest-y.Edited to add photo with holder full of cards!

I was debating on ordering a five foot card holder, and now I wish I did. The card holder does not hold as many cards as it is designed to hold because most cards are larger and require 2 or 3 clips in order to not cover up other cards. It is a bit flimsier than I thought it would be, but I just had to put a few extra screws to hold it onto the wall. It is very pretty, and all of my friends have commented on it when over. I wish I had order a larger version because I still had to put cards on my mantel and entertainment center. Oh, and the shipping was fast, and the item was well packaged.

Well definately cheaper than Pottery Barn, but that's about it. I guess maybe I have too many cards but it's kinda flimsy and the cards fall out alot. I love the idea and I'll continue to use it but if your on the fence and you get alot of cards, you may want to consider another option.

This wire thing is not even nor flush to the wall so while you can tack one end down the other end pops up it made a mess of our Christmas card display and I had to BEG my husband not to tear the whole thing on the wall or toss in the garbage... ugh

I thinks its great, holds plenty of cards and photos, and pretty enough to keep up year around, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars I though it was black other then that it's perfect, you won't go wrong with this.

Having a hard time keeping the cards in the holder.....I've always wanted one...my daughter-in-law has one, but just wish I could get the cards to stay in the holder a little easier. I almost have to bend the cards a bit to make them stay in place.

The card holder was all that I expected. It worked really well and it was more of a silver, rather than black, in color. It was so nice not to have to use tape for all my cards. I fastened it to the wall with a straight pin and it held nicely with no mark after I took it down. Though I hated to part with the money, it was well worth it as it is now part of my Christmas decor.

I use this at the office and get lots of compliments on it.
