Love these planners!!!
This is my 4th Day Designer planner and I love them! I’m not a planner fanatic, but this totally fits my needs. I purchased my first one in Target in 2017 after comparing every calendar and planner on the shelf. I used the smaller 5x8 size the first couple years so that I could easily fit it in my purse and that worked great. Then when my son started pre-K and I went back to college taking classes online in 2019, I decided to switch to the academic planner to keep up with our semesters/school years better. I also switched to the larger planner size so that I could stick papers in there until I could transpose the info into my planner. It has been perfect!I love the monthly view because it allows me to get an overview of what’s to come for the month, but I also love the weekly view and how there’s a column for “Today’s schedule” and “To do” for each weekday. I use the “To do” side to write down what needs to be done and the “Today’s schedule” to keep notes on what I actually did for the day. The pages aren’t too thick so I use a magnetic bookmark to easily access the current month and the current week, putting each of the previous weeks of the month in between the bookmark; but the pages aren’t too flimsy either.I could go on about this planner but I’ll stop now. But I will definitely will continue purchasing these planners. I always look forward to “new calendar time” of the year so that I can choose my design 😊

An Essential for a Busy Work-at-Home Person
I do contract work for several clients plus have a whole family whose schedules I need to coordinate, so having some kind of planner is a must for me! I shopped for a long time before buying this planner. Here's why I picked it:- The front cover is an open pocket, so you can stick business cards, directions, reminders, etc, in that front pocket so you don't lose them.- You can see each week at a glance, plus write down the top three priorities for the week, which helps me focus on what I need to do that's outside the ordinary daily tasks.- Each day has two columns: a schedule and to-do list, which is great. I put work and family events on the schedule and then regular chores or reminders on the to-do side.- It's lightweight but sturdy. The only drawback is that my old one had a "today" bookmark you could clip into the spiral which I loved, so I didn't have to hunt for the current page. I saved my old one and use it with this planner, but I hope that next year's will include a clip-able bookmark like this in case mine doesn't last!I'm super pleased with the planner so far and look forward to buying another one next year.

Adore it
I've always loved these planners. I took a break from them for a couple of years to become a bullet journaller, but eventually reached a point where my bullet journal spreads were just a more time-consuming version of what this planner already does.I really love how the weekly pages are set up since it allows me to separate out my todo list from my events and activities. The events side is looking a little sparse during these 'Rona days, but I'm sure it will get more love if we ever return to regularly scheduled programming. It's the perfect size for a planner — not so small you're having to squish your words together to fit everything in, but small enough that it's easy to carry with you in a purse or backpack. The Day Designer planners are just so good and I expect that I'll keep coming back to them for years to come.

Pages out of order
The month of December overview calendar is out of order at the end of Novemer daily pages. See my photos. Luckily it is only 4 pages and since I in education (Christmas break) I decided to live with it. It's not worth it to try and return. Things I like: it's pretty, the month at a glance & then the weekly/daily pages. I really like the lines & check boxes. Hoping it holds up over the academic year.

It has a different monthly layout than previous Blue Sky Planners
I have used Blue Sky planners for years. I am not thrilled with my latest purchase. It is a Monthly/Weekly Academic planner. This particular one has the Notes & To-do on the left side of the page. That's fine, however it moves the whole thing over which now places Wednesday on the right side of the book. Maybe it's just my OCD getting the best of me, but I don't think I can get past that. Also, the dates are a very light color. It makes it very difficult to see at a glance. The pages are much thinner than my previous planner. This is petty, but I'm also not thrilled with the little colored icons noting it is a holiday. I don't need the extra busy-ness on my pages. I do like the pocket page just inside the cover. I will buy another Blue Sky planner, but I will be careful to note how the pages are laid out.

Beautiful Planner
I am going into my freshman year of college and I needed a monthly/daily planner to keep myself organized. These planners are so pretty and they immediately caught my eye! I had trouble choosing what pattern I wanted as they were all beautiful. So far, I haven't discovered any issues with misprints, but will update if I find any. I do, however, have an issue with the front page where you are supposed to write your name, email, address, phone number, etc. The page is so plastic-y that a regular pen doesn't write well on it, but if you use a gel pen then it smears every where and doesn't dry. Luckily I was able to wipe off the gel pen mess (because it didn't dry AT ALL and I could wipe it off with a damp tissue) and try again with a regular pen, but that isn't working well either. I do wish the front page was actual paper so I could write on it more easily. Other than that, no complaints though and I look forward to using it this school year.

Paper quality is not good
This seems like a good basic weekly planner so far, and I suppose the paper quality is what one should expect for the price. It's pretty thin, and you can definitely see your own writing on the opposite side of pages, as well as any lines and words that are printed on those pages. I probably wouldn't have bothered coming back to write a review except for the fact that the product description specifically mentioned the "high quality white paper" and the product photos are misleading. They are clearly either doctored or are actually photos of sheets printed on other paper instead of the actual planner. It's too late for me to turn back now, but if that's a deal-breaker for you, definitely look elsewhere.

Great academic planner with a beautiful design!
I bought a Blue Sky planner in the past and I am even more pleased with this one! I love the colourful tabs and it is convenient to have spaces for checklists for each week day in the weekly format; this allows me to plan what I want to accomplish for each day while still having space to jot down other things. The pages are thicker than your typical A4 paper but not as thick as stock paper. For those that were not satisfied about the "2 bonus months", these refer to the May and June 2020 monthly views, nothing else. Buying it now (end of July 2020), those wouldn't be very useful.Overall, it's a great planner for those in school and for the design and quality, it's a good value!

Excellent Academic Planner
I really like this planner. The colours are nice -- especially the rainbow month tabs down the right side. I like that there is a plastic pocket at the beginning that could hold papers or stickers. I also like the layout of the pages with monthly calendars in between. It's a little bit on the expensive side considering Mead and Staples brand planners are usually closer to $17, but I do like this one and I would consider buying it again.

Missing Pages !!
Trying to put my schedule in and realized that pages are literally missing. Somehow my dates jump from July 29 to August 8?? The calendar part is missing half which makes no sense. It only shows Sunday-Tuesday only lol. Literally worse planner I've ever seen in my life. What a waste of money.

Pages are inconsistent in colour and thickness
If you don't mind different "white" shades on your monthly spread, a cheap coil binding, and thin paper then this might be the planner for you. I really think this is overpriced for what you get... if it were $5 - $10 that would be about right for the quality of this item. Very disappointed and I have to return this now.
