My plan to use these was as plant hangers. They were going to be mounted quite high in a two story foyer that had just gotten a new plank wall. I was going to get extra rope to lengthen them. I'm so sad I had to return these but it was NOT the products fault... a delivery issue caused them to be late & I couldn't wait so I had to find an alternative locally. (Only had access to the tall ladder & someone brave enough to climb it for one more day)I sure wish I could have waited because man are these cool! I shouldn't have opened them when they arrived because now I'm triple bummed! I wish I could find another place to use them because I love them so much! If it wasn't so expensive to rent the ladder again & pay the handyman to come back.. I'd totally do it.Up close you can tell they're not a working pulley but the overall effect is so stunning you don't notice right away & I'm sure from a few feet away they'd look even more real... at the height I was planning to hang them, you'd have never known they weren't authentic. 😢

These are not functional pulleys but are absolutely stunning and are the centerpiece of my room!

Exactly as described and shown in pictures. If screwed to the wall properly with good backing or to a stud, it should hold a decent amount a weight. We use it to hold a macrame plant hanger with a decent sized plant on it.

looks great and they are functional. I wouldn't put too much weight on these, I've got an 18lb aquarium light split between two of these and they hold it just fine but it does flex them a little.
