Flameles Candles,LED Battery Powered Candles Timing Function ~Real Wax Mini Votive Measures 1"H x 2"W (Set of 6)

These candles are most certainly larger than votive size - not taller, but much bigger around. If you're wanting to put these in votive holders they probably won't fit. I wanted them for something different so the size was not an issue to me. I love the way they look in person, it seems like real wax on the outside with a nice colored flickering light. They also have an auto timer which is great. However, the biggest drawback is the battery life. The candles lasted a few weeks running a few hours each night before the batteries ran out. Not sure if it's battery quality (I did use the ones they came with) or if it's just how they will be. I probably won't change the batteries out monthly to keep the lights flickering each night...maybe around the holidays I'll put another set in.

Six little candles all ready to go with a strip of six extra replacement CR2032 batteries.At first glance they seem to be a regular candle though of course no odor or heat. In the dark they look good enough to fool people.The LED is directional so when you carry one around you do find yourself pointing it more like a flashlight than holding like a candle because of course there is no flame or dripping wax.Thick wax shell provides a nice tactile weight and feel in your hand.The "flame" is a clear soft plastic, it has a little give to it and does not project above the rim so you can stack them one on top of the other for storage.Switches and battery door seem solid.Flickering effect seems diminished if you have them close together for some reason but that might be all in my mind.The only improvement might be a USB rechargeable version or maybe a little screw to retain the battery door.I get a bit nervous using these button batteries around children due to the swallow hazard.

Height is 1& 1/4", NOT 1". Some flame tips are even higher to 1 & 3/8". would not fit in my crystal box. I had to carve the top wax off with a knife and cut the flame tip off. Battery dimmed after 2 nights. Otherwise the shape and construction is very nice. The color nice and golden. Like a real candle.

While I like this product and it works well for I what I needed, I'm giving it three stars for two reasons. It doesn't come with instructions. Thankfully, I had read enough reviews that I was able to work the candles just fine with no issue. I also didn't receive the 6 replacement batteries that was included in the description of the product. The candles flicker nicely and give off a soft yellow glow.

These give off a nice, warm glow. With a fresh battery, the light is nice and bright, but after about a week of use with the timer function, it gets so dim that you can barely tell it's on unless the room is pretty dark.

I do like that they throw in spare batteries. We found that it took two per pumpkin to have enough light. Still a bit on the dull side, but got the job done. One of the candles stopped working after the first night and we ever could get it back on. The timer function is also very nice. All-in-all a decent experience.

I purchased these flameless candles because of the timer feature and the price was a good value. I use them around the house in several candle lamps. They make the rooms look nice at night and I do not have to remember to turn them on and off. The extra set of batteries was a plus. Since the candles come on every night, I am curious to see the time of the battery life. They arrived packaged well in a see-through box, and I think they would make a nice small gift.

I like these candles but they are not as good outside in the heat. I had them in mason jars and some of them melted (but still worked on the timer:) Would recommend for inside use. Great size - bigger than the standard tea candle.
