Dimensions Needlecrafts Felt Art Flower Needle Felting

I will admit I am a beginner at felting but I am finding the amount of roving they give you is very stingy. The largest ball of roving I received was in yellow and if you look at the picture that is the color you need the least of. I am stretching and pulling the dark green but it is just not enough. Pulled the teal out of the bag and the quantity is just pitiful. Watching videos on youtube for help. I don't think I am doing anything wrong. I have stretched it so that the felt backing shows through and that is not supposed to happen. Disappointing that this company is making my foray into a new craft a failure.

This was so fun! The kit looks like there isn't enough wool in it to complete the design, but you will have plenty to finish the piece. The kit comes with everything, even the mat to work on. The mat is so great that I bought the largest size they make. The needle is a medium, so if you have some finer ones on hand I suggest finishing the piece with those.Overall, I'm very pleased. I bought more kits like this one and the other designs as gifts.

The kit was ok, a little bit smaller than expected, and the amount of would was poor. Over all it was ok.

First of all, the needle broke in five minutes, and apparently is not replaceable at the craft store.Secondly, the felt is so thick that the needle leaves a hole mark that doesn't disappear, so then you have to hide it.Thirdly, very little instruction, and pretty pricey for what it is....Not enough wool, and designs are tight, so very difficult to do well without appropriate needles (which have some kind of rough edge on the shaft, so regular needles cannot be used).
