Colonial Candle Fine Merlot Simmer Snaps

I’ve never used wax melts before so I really didn’t know what to expect. The fragrance smells like the candle versions I have and love. I have been pleasantly surprised at how long I can burn one piece of wax. The only thing I didn’t love was how soft the wax was so it was hard to break out of the container. I will definitely buy again though. The aroma is beautiful and I worry about my two dogs leaving a dog smell in the house so this has been wonderful.

Ok, I am giving my stars mostly on product and fast delivery, not based on the scent. I personally do not care for the scent. It was recommended to me by a friend who loves the scent. Its just not for me, I know now, so I will be giving her this. :) Since scent preferences are very personal, I do not want to rate this on it. However, it stays strong and lingers which is a good thing. You never know until you try it. :)

I love this in the real candle with flame version, and always have. However, the simmer snaps version seems almost like overkill in the aroma department. It's too strong even only using two little sections, and it takes a while to get it to tame down to where it does not give me a headache. May just stick to the real candle version with this one.

Love the smell of Colonial Fine Merlot.The wax has a beautiful scent. This is hard to find in the stores. It's been my favorite for years. There have been many companies trying to duplicate this scent. Nothing close to the Colonial Candle scent.

I really like this scent, but will most likely purchase directly from the vendor. Amazon price is just too high for what little you receive.

Colonial Candle is such a great company with perfect products. I love this fragrance. It is not floral, it is more on the grape side, very fruity! I never get sick of it!

I love the smell of this flavor of candle so I thought I would try the melts. I opened the package and tried to break off a square to melt. The product was all soft, couldn't break off and wax stuck all over my fingers. I wouldn't recommend or buy these again. I will stick with the wonderful candles :)

Smells great but doesn't last long.
