Classic Home and Garden S1027D-037R Whiskey Barrel Planter, 20.5", Kentucky Walnut

I was somewhat skeptical about how these would look, but thought I would try them out. I was very pleasantly surprised. They actually look really nice. Super light weight. They are not as sturdy as wood is, but for the price these are great. I will likely buy these again.

Looks great at a great price

Very sturdy but light weight. Good looking as well. The only thing is I use it on my balcony and I was planning to change it to a wicking planter however it comes with predrilled holes. For ppl using a saucer or use it outdoor should be good.

Lightweight and durable. I have had no issues with fading. I used them to make dance floor corner posts to hang lights on. (post in the middle of the barrel and pored concrete in them. For my case, it does as advertised and looks as advertised.

It's a great pot and perfect size. Since it is late in the year to plant anything I didn't use it yet for the purpose I bought it. However, it seems sturdy and well made and I hope that during the summer I will be able to plant some veggies in it.

Nice large planter, lightweight so very easy to maneuver around the garden. Good price for such a big piece. I'm using mine to contain an overgrown mint plant, it looks very nice!

I have several big box purchased barrels made from wood in my yard. They’re approximately three years old and disintegrating surprisIngly fast I think. Enter the plastic look alike purchased from Amazon. AWESOME. I can’t tell the difference. Plus I love that it came with drainage holes I didn’t need to drill. And there are a half dozen! I walked past one and had to look closely to see that it wasn’t wood. I’ll be purchasing more to replace other disintegrating barrels! I think I paid a bit more for this type than those made from wood but I’m expecting they will last longer. I’ll see how the winter treats them!

I like it, but it is not as realistic looking as the photos make it appear and it has no drainage holes. Plants require this so they are not sitting in puddles causing root rot. I can get past the look as from a distance it seems fine, but the holes need to be added .
