It is working well and fit well with surface pro4

The idea is great and it works great but it gets so hot I don't trust it. I also got alerts that the USB power surges when you have two things plugged in and then you have to reboot... If the maker could fix those things I'd buy an updated version

The display port adapter broke off in less than a year of very light use. worked fine until that point, but disappointed in the build quality.

This ran my battery down and got very hot when just plunged into my surface without any connections in being used. Took my battery down 45% in one hour and was hot to the touch. Ended up ordering the surface kit, which didn’t look as good but functions fine. The appearance of this is preferable, but function over form.

Surface Pro has very little in the way of connection to the outside world and peripheral devices. This adds the capability missing. If anything, I would like there to be MORE USB ports. It does what it claims, it is not small, but certainly not too large. It gives you connection to "real world" devices and the capability to add external memory as well as other peripherals and connect into networks. All-in-all I am very pleased with its capabilities.

It's really quite lovely. The USB plug and the mini DisplayPort plug are exactly the right size and distance apart. Plug it in and it will never fall out and you now have all the connections that a real computer would have had. If you really want just a tablet, you shouldn't be reading this review.

Quality product. Used to connect my Surface Pro 6 to HDMI to view on the TV. Also allows multiple USBs to be inserted at the same time.

I love the size, functionality, quick hookup.I don't like that it gets very hot when in use.
