Wild Greek Organic Honey, All Natural, Raw Honey From The Pindus Mtns in Greece (Thyme)

This honey, although marketed as Thyme honey, does not taste authentic. As a Greek I'm familiar with the distinctive taste of thyme honey and this was definitely not it! This was not a cheap purchase so I'm very bummed. The honey tastes good and is of good quality, but not true Thyme. It has more of a wildflower taste. Guess I will use it for cooking - lessened learned. If you're chasing true Thyme honey I do not recommend this. However of you're just interested in good honey then buy away.

This honey is amazing. It has a very pleasant and distinct taste, I really like it a lot. I ordered this honey because it was never heated. You don't want to eat heated honey, because heat destroys its beneficial properties. I'm glad I came across this honey. And I'm glad there are still beekeepers like Nikos Ouranos of Ebion that carefully harvest honey and practice sustainable beekeeping. The honey jars arrived quickly, well packaged in plenty of bubble wrap and there was no damage or leaking. Thank you!

This honey has a beautiful thick consistency, as raw honey can have--that beautiful grit and a thick, lava-like flow from the spoon. Just so you know, it is not solely thyme honey, but strawberry, too.
