Video WOW factor goes vertical.
I received my order and went to work adding it to the top of my home theater's display chain. After a few tweeks and minor adjustments I sat back and watched (in this order) some broadcast TV, couple of VCR tapes, a couple of DVDs, a small sampling of Blurays and lastly some home movies on flash drives. (I played the flash drive content through the Bluray player, not the TV's USB slots) The display is more than a little impressive. Standard definition content is made better, but not "wonderful". DVD content is made better by leaps and bounds and bluray looks flat-out AWESOME. (I've yet to buy any 4K bluray disks and it'll be a while till 8K disks come out, so no joy on THAT front....yet). The sound quality, using the TV's built in speakers is drab and nothing to write home about (a good AV system is recommended)....but the display......well... IMHO, this thing ROCKS!

YouTube now has 8K content available and this TV is displaying it.
My computer is a few years old and doesn't have the speed to render the 8K efficiently, but that's fixable. Movies in 4K and 1080p on Amazon Video, and Hulu, and other streaming sites this TV is upscaling to 8K. The close ups on the actors faces actually reveal a lot more than I want to see, what can be seen with the naked eye. It's not bad, just kind of weird. I pulled the trigger as soon as I could and haven't looked back. New cell phones, at least a couple models, record in 8K, and there are these droids people all over the world are using in unison with those phones capturing the beauty and essence of nearly every foreign to me country in the world. That's the 8K content on YouTube I'm talking about.

Absolute nightmare, second shakey experience with Samsung and by far the worst!
This is my second Samsung high end television purchase and man what a lemon! It set up perfectly out of the box but the way this TV works is everything goes through the One Connect box and power & A/V go through this thin wire to the monitor portion of the TV. Okay, makes for a low footprint design... but wait, there's more! We get everything working, Netflix, Plex, Disney +, movies are playing in a beautiful picture, good to go. I turn it off and run some errands, come back. <click> The sound of a failed power cycle coming from the One Connect box. Hmm, I've dealt with this before with my previous Samsung, very finicky with power and holding corrupted information. Power cycle, nothing. Disconnect and press the power button a few times to really drain the charge, nothing. Hmm, unplug the sound bar and remove any external HDMI and then power cycle some more, nothing. So then starts my first Samsung service center call (Mark R). He wants me to power cycle everything again- fair enough, sometimes the second-set-of-eyes is the magic you need to make it work, but nothing. He recommends I just replace it through Amazon (even though its well under warranty). I say, no, it was a pain getting off work, taking delivery, and setting it up, just warranty the One Connect box because I work in data centers and everything here smells like a failed component in there. So he points me to the service center. I set everything up in the Service Center and the way this works is they contract out to a local repair service and they'll diagnose in-person. Sounds fine, we'll run through this as Amazon gives until 31 May to get the return/refund in. They assign the repair center to a firm I've never heard of and is not listed on Yelp, Angie's List, or even Google reviews. In fact, their streetview looks like an abandoned building. It says they'll contact me in 2 days but smelling something fishy I give them a call. First call goes to voicemail, but it's actually a voicemail of something calling them asking about a broken tv. Second call it picks up and there is no english on the other end. We pick through broken words until they finally look me up and just flat out say they can't fix it based on the size of the TV and then just put the phone down which I guess was the end of the conversation, so I just hung up. Out of desperation, I go back to the TV which has been without power for an hour or so now and it boots up! I throw on Fury Road to do some A/V checks and get about 15 min before the whole thing shuts down and is back to dead. This time no amount of power cycling or coming back after 2 hours will help. I call Amazon up to just do the replacement but, ha wouldn't you know it, there's none left in stock, they can only return/refund it, and the price on anything comparable just went up $500 since purchase. Round #2 with Samsung tech support (Hridaynath M). Another couple rounds of, let's try power cycling again- great, 80th times a charm! So we play this song and dance for awhile again before the suggestion comes up, why don't I just return and replace it through amazon... great, no one wants responsibility for fixing this. So we go down the service road again and I say, I'm game for a technician, but it can't be the people you already assigned because A. they said they couldn't do it and B. it sounds fraudulent. They say there's nothing they can do because these people haven't closed the ticket yet and we have to wait until that happens, who knows when? Absolute joke of customer service on both ends and I can't believe this is happening. Do not buy. If you've already bought and are waiting on shipment, refuse it and get the refund!

Top notch!
I upgraded from a 65", 4K tv (sony) to this 75", 8k monster. What a difference! The 8K upscale engine is just phenomenal. I do not stream using the TV apps, but a separate Apple TV 4K. I cannot compare with other 8K models, but I was impressed by the quality of the picture and the HDR of light/dark in the same scene. No regrets on my end!

Great UHD for the price
Pros: the tv has great overall quality, can’t really see much of a difference between 4k and 8k. Sure content is not there, however don’t see the AI upscaler do much for 8k scaling. However the screen looks great. HDR is great, you can really feel the strong whites while keeping shadow detail. Cons: Lacks any control for the up-scaler. Wish you can control it and turn it on and off. And set levels And perhaps methods. Audio: is very flat, however don’t expect great audio from these super flat borderless TVs. HDR: when on, is great however if you add titles, the white title is very bright and the rest of the image dims down. Up-scaler: is only effective when content is already sharp. If content is below 720 or low quality 1080, the upscaler adds weird border artifacts like a thin double edge that makes it look like a painting. This only is there when content is not great. When content is well defined then it works.

Great tv
Outstanding tv, and outstanding customer service to get the tv. I had an issue with the first tv sent and customer service could not have been more helpful. There is some sort of issue connecting the Samsung 8k to Bose stereo sound bars and sub woofers - the two simply do not get along. From what I read on the blogs this is a known issue to Samsung and it has not been resolved.

The 8k quality is there. Compared to my 4k tv I love it
The picture quality is amazing. I compared it to the LG C9 and it was way more clearer. Even had my 12 and 14 year old with me and they even agreed. The sound is not good though and I wish it had dolby vision. But compared to the C9 I think the Colors r amazing. I would give the value a 5 star if it offered Dolby vision. I wish Samsung would just offer it and stop holding out on products that we really want.

TV stopped working after a year, out of warranty
TV started showing up as constantly disconnecte from the box after just 1 year of use. I check all the cables, everything is fine. Basically we cab watch 30min of TV before it happens and then it will just keep disconnecting 30 secs after turning it on. There is just no way to see if the Samsung One Cable or One Box is at fault here and the TV is completely useless with this type of TV models without the box. Both the cable and Box are priced over $300 separately… and there is barely any supply We are getting quoted $300 just to get a diagnostics (repair and parts are not included). For a TV we paid $3000 and used for just a year, it just seems crazy especially when there is no way to know what the problem is for sure. We could just be wasting money getting a new cable or a new box. This new system where a Samsung box contains everything and is the only thing that can connect to the TV is just horrible. There is just nothing you can do with the TV if you have issues with the box or cable… Highly advise against those types of Samsung TVs. Just seems very prone to issues.
