Flexible Flyer soft flexible saucer is a great sled for beginners! this snow saucer features three-layer construction: 1) a polyester top which displays bright colors and provide a tough circular sled topside; 2) a soft foam core that makes the ride down the hill that much more enjoyable; 3) and lastly, a super slick poly ethylene bottom glides across snow. this durable construction won't POP like snow tubes or crack like plastic sleds. It is super light so even the youngest of sliders can carry it back up the top of the hill. the handles are box stitched so the rider can hold on tight as they spin their way down the hill. a snow disc sled for children 3 and up.

Ripped before first slide
Stitched with a single strand of spider silk me thinks. I know it has a very high tensile strength but it doesnt matter if you only use one strand. Extremely crappy sled and I wished I had noticed the customer reviews before i bought two of them. AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!

Poor design and quality
After one day of use the fabric separated from the plastic where the handles were. Also, the weight distribution on the flexible disc made it sink into the snow instead of flying down the mountain. Even the 4-year-old couldn’t get it to go.

not worth the money
I bought 2 sleds they did not make it 1 trip, they are cheap and the rip on the first or second trip down the hill, I would not recommend these sleds at all. They are garbage.

Ripped on first use
The nylon cover on the sled ripped during first use. I returned for refund. I was looking for something that would last for a couple years.

Good Product!
We still have the one I purchased four years ago. These sleds are fast and rugged! The waxy coating has worn down over the years, but with a little ski wax they move even faster than when new. Highly recommended!

Poorly Made Product
Ripped open around the edges on first use.

Cheap sled
The loop where you tie a rope to pull your toddler broke the first time I tried to pull my 2.5 year old (who is only 50th percentile for weight). I tied the rope to the side handles hoping that would work, but it made the front dip into the snow and act like more of a snowplow, instead of a sled. In addition to the flimsy loophole, the bottom of the sled is a cheap hard plastic which I figure will crack sooner or later. This is definitely not a durable sled. Save your money and buy something else.
