I really like this whisk. I appreciate the fact that it is silicone and not metal like most whisks are. I hate the scraping sound caused by the metal and I am afraid that the metal will damage my cookware. The silicone is flexible enough for it to be super easy to clean without damaging it. But it is rigid enough to mix the ingredients well. The color is great and matches the other StarPack cooking utensils very well.The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the handle holds water. The other StarPack utensils are one piece and I love that I don't have to worry about trapped water, but I do have to worry about that with this whisk. It's not a deal breaker and I've just learned to shake it out well and let it air dry whisk side down in order to drain all of the water out. But it is a nuisance when I (or my husband) forget to do that and we are greeted with a stream of water when we pick it up to put it away or use. I'm not sure if this could be made with one solid piece of silicone, but if it was I would definitely upgrade to that one instead.

I received the whisk four months ago almost to the day. It has been used once every 7 to 10 days to whisk milk while making yogurt in my Instant Pot. About two weeks ago I noticed small red bits of matter in my yogurt. It was silicone from a wire on the whisk, but the whisk still seemed usable. This week the whisk completely fell apart, with one of the wires coming out of the handle entirely. I would expect any kitchen tool to last more than four months, especially with such minimal use.

I got this whisk at the end of April and have used it maybe 15 times, and the coating has already come off. It has scratched up my nonstick pan! It only lasted 5 months before the coating came off and exposed the metal. DO NOT BUY!!

This product is of poor quality and failed twice, both the originally purchased unit and its replacement as well. I returned for refund after given it the opportunity to prove itself one more time.Both times the failure occurred within less than 1 month of purchase. As other reviewers have noted, and is depicted in some of the customer images shown for this product, both the whisk as well as the hook on the opposite end of the handle easily separate from the handle due to bond failure. They are both glued on - it is not a solid integral construction.Given that this happened with two units in series, it points to a systemic design flaw. No particular heat was applied, merely whisking stove top. Obviously a different bonding agent must be used.Given its flimsy construction and design flaw I do not recommend this product.

Love this whisk! I needed a silicone whisk to avoid scratching up a new set of pans/pots I just got. Whisk is perfect size, not too big, not too small. The wire loops are perfectly spaced for allowing whatever you're whisking to easily pass through without sticking in between. Super easy to clean and love the Teal Color! Would definitely recommend!

As whisks go, this one works perfectly well.Unfortunately, there are two showstopper design flaws. First, the handle is hollow and not waterproof. If you run the whisk through a dishwasher or put it underwater, the handle will fill up with (potentially not very clean) water. This water will not drain easily, so you'll have to stand there and shake the thing over the sink. Secondly, the silicone covering started to break off after very light use.Look elsewhere.

I have been using my whisk for the past three months to froth my milk for my latte every morning. I gently wash and dry it everyday in preparation for the next day. To my surprise, the whisk snapped and broke at the whisk end (see picture). I couldn’t believe it, my cheap ones have lasted for years. The silicone whisk sounds like a great idea but they are not durable and fall apart after a few months. I rarely write reviews, but I need to warn customers. I would have gladly left a positive review, but reaching customer service resulted in no response or replacement. I’m hoping the seller reads their customer reviews and can help me?

I have been using StarPack products for quite some time now. This is only the second time that I have received a defective product. The first time it happened StarPack replaced the defective item immediately. I will see what happens this time and update this review accordingly. For the record, I really like StarPack products.This item seems to work fine for me beside the fact that one of the "wires" came unplugged on the first use. I have been plugging it back in as needed so I can use whisk. If the product was not damaged I would really like it. I think that it is silicone covered, is quiet while using, and does not scratch your pans / bowls.

Have used this whisk for 2 months of relatively light use (about twice a week) and it has fallen apart.

Works well.
