Doctor Who 4th Doctor - Pyramid of Mars

The fourth Doctor, presented here as how he was seen in the 1975 serial, 'The Pyramids of Mars', is a fantastic figure and belongs in any Doctor Who fan's collection. This particular toy was an exclusive from Forbidden Planet.com and just may be the very best version of the fourth Doctor in toy form.The articulation is what one has come to expect from the Character Option range: the head pivots 360 degrees (although it my be impeded by the scarf), the shoulders turn, there is movement at the elbow with a mid-bicep joint, the hands twist all the way around, it turns at the waist, the legs can swing out (but the coat does restrict that a bit) and can bend, the is a joint at the thighs and at the knees. All in all, I counted 18 points of articulation.The detail and sculpt are spot on - the likeness to Tom Baker is uncanny (except for maybe the eyebrows) and the costume is spot on. The paint applications are very well done except for one little bit - the underside of the scarf is left unpainted! All of the other Tom's have both sides of the scarves painted, so not sure why this was left undone. The head looks like it can pop off, meaning which if you have another fourth Doctor figure, you can swap scarves or even heads if you so choose.The figure also comes with The Doctor's trusty sonic screwdriver and the time control panel which he used to defeat Sutekh in the serial. Note - it seems the time control panel is warped as everyone who I know who has this figure has noticed the same problem mine had.All in all, there are a lot of fourth Doctor toys out there, but honestly? This is the only one you'll need. This is just about as perfect a Tom Baker figure you can get. Highly recommended!

This doll is a sweet likeness of Tom Baker's Classic Fourth Doctor, on the British hit tv series Doctor Who. It is great for Doctor Who collectors especially those who love the Classic Doctor Who. Nice for a collection item.

My mom got me into doctor who as a kid but her favorite remains Tom Baker so when I saw this got it for her Birthday and she adores it. The only issue was getting it to stand on the shelf in the pose SHE wanted but that took 15 minutes tops even comes with something to carry in it's hand. She adores this figurine

My Doctor arrived a head of schedule and it is wonderfully. It arrived in good condition. I really am happy to have these version of 4th Doctor , it just as I remember him from the show. The detail are nice and the fact that it draw from the Pyramid of Mars only made it better.

Beautiful quality

Extraordinary likeness to Tom Baker, but the scarf is extremely delicate on mine, not sure if it’s a fault just in mine or all copies, so do be carful when handling or storing it.

This is the best most realistic looking #4. Keeping it in the box for now. But will probably eventually display on a shelf next to Tardis I ordered (that's still in box, so far).

An excellent model of Tom Baker's incarnation of the Doctor from Season 13. As with all the figures it's highly detailed and to my mind captures the likeness slightly better than the Pertwee version I have. My son adores it which is more than enough for me to give it 5 stars.

Well made action figure and accurately resembles Tom Baker

Highly detailed figure, does a good job framing Tom Bakers looks accurately. Great colours. The loose clothes are perfectly made with soft plastic which renders their softness well.

The best things about the figure are the details (in the clothes and sonic screwdriver) and the amazing likeness. Besides, the size is much better than the new and smaller "wave 2" Doctor Who figures). However, do not expect the usual neutral expression; this figure is smiling because it represents Tom Baker's Doctor in the classic "Pyramids of Mars" serial.
