Around 1inch bolt
The carabiner went around a one inch thick ring anchor which is in the ground. Smooth screw on the carabiner to lock. Very impressed with this product .

Only the best when it's life or death!
This is much heavier than other carabiners so we only carry a few of these for SRT rigging. It's not that I think aluminium is necessarily unsafe, but something feels much better about hanging off a big lump of steel!Excellent bit of kit. My boyfriend does more caving than me and can confirm that these withstand some serious abuse. The screw gate still works even when clag and grit end up in the mix.Highly recommended.

A tough and durable carabiner. Good for marine applications. It looks very strong although I have not tested the breaking load!

Well Made, Very Strong, Great Value
These are very strong and made with precision. The screw locks stay in place when tightened, and after you break them loose they quickly screw open with a couple flicks of your finger. They are quality made in Tiawan, the country that makes more than half the world's microprocessors. Taiwan is capable of high quality, precision manufacturing and it shows in these. I bought several, and they are all identical in quality and finish.They're not light, but when I'm hanging from a tree it's never going to be from aluminum or anything made in China.These are beasts, and a great value for a Petzel product.

Top Qualität mit kleinem Manko
Das Produkt macht einen sehr hochwertigen und vertrauenswürdigen Eindruck, wie man ihn beim Klettern braucht. Alles ist einwandfrei, nur der rote Ring unter dem Screw Lock blätterte nach weniger Benutzung bereits ab. Ansonsten würde ich das Produkt auf jeden Fall empfehlen und wieder kaufen!
