It gets right to the point, the anecdotes are pertinent to the lessons, it isn't bogged down with success stories from using its methods, and it has genuinely good advice. Quick read, very helpful, easy to understand/implement. Other self help books should take note. Review: Recommend - I feel like I’ve read this parts of this book in several other books. But here they are all together backed with some fun facts. I gave it a 4 because there was nothing earth shattering but I would recommend this to anyone looking to refocus or learn a new skill. Easy to read and understand

A book for a true learner
What I like about this book is that it highlights the true learning styles that will lead you to intended distention of education. It does not provide you with false promises of shortcuts or quick learning. Well done Peter Hollins and thanks for your great work

A very good start to figuring it out
From the big picture, this book highlights a lot of concepts on how to grow quickly. However, the real value is in the theories about how to get better. I found those interesting and the book appears to be backed by some solid research. It's a good read, worth your time, and has actionable ideas a plenty.

It feels like a good scam, not the real author
Almost all the advice given by the book could be found on internet, at that is the conclusion I came to, no real strategy, although I concur or at least I already new what is said in the book. I didn't really learn something new as compared to the amount of time I dedicate to reading it. But this could work for you maybe. The choice is up to you. For me I'm interested in real advanced techniques of learning.
