Stick and Stone Kindle Edition

This book is a perfect read for my second grade class in the beginning of the year. It is funny and teaches valuable lessons!

This is the new favorite.. reading it 2-3x per day! Great book about friendship too.

Stick and Stone reads like a Japanese Haiku, a book of few words and each one is a gem. The message in this book, is the important message of friendship and as the name implies, bullying. It is a great early reading book. Stick and Stone is also a wonderfully illustrated children's book. I am glad I added this book to the bookcase.

She chooses this for bedtime practically every night. You’ll probably have it memorized by heart after a week.

it's a great little story to not only read but study the drawings(pictures) in the book as you read the book.

This is one of the most read books in my house. The storyline is simple but not, you know, Disney channel cartoon vapid. It's a fun book to read aloud. My 4 year old really loves the rhyme scheme and action sequence to this book. He quotes it in imaginative play --- "COWABUNGA... KER SPLOOOOSH." Another nice thing is that this is an any time of the day book -- a lot of board books are pretty obviously just about reminding your kid that sleep is imminent. If you think your kid is at that age that they want to "pretend" read a book to themselves, this book is simple enough that they can basically memorize it pretty quickly and pick up on some important sight words.

This simply written story has deep meaning and my 5 year old loved it. (I imagine it would be good for the 3 to 6 year old age range). It gives adult a chance to talk about friendship and standing up for others. Wow. Highly recommend.

Una bella storia sull'amicizia

This book teaches kids the value of friendship and concepts like loyalty, kindness. Important life book! and cute storytelling too, appropriate for young ones.

Sweet story about friendship with an anti bullying message for little ones.

The kids love this story and both participate.

Ottimo racconto per bambini, per iniziare a leggere in inglese e per raccontare la nascita di un'amicizia tra un bastoncino di legno e un sassolino. Il racconto aiuta la comprensione dei concetti di amicizia, di aiuto reciproco nell'affrontare le difficoltà, perché insieme si è più forti.
