Great small pair of flush cutters, comfortable and pretty sharp, I recommend it!
I was looking for a set of cheap-ish flush cutters (really didn’t feel like dropping $15 on a pair…) to replace my dull older flush cutters. Those were of a different design. I used it for over 2 years, I really liked them, but it’s pretty dull now. So I picked these up, and I like ‘em! I see some people saying these just snapped upon cutting a piece of thin plastic or a paperclip, mine have been fine so far (in the past I cut some stuff I shouldn’t have with my old flush cutters/snips, I’ve learned my lesson). I’ve cut thin-ish plastic with them, cut lots of zip ties, excess material off parts, ect, but I’ve only cut metal (like a paperclip) once or twice. So far, the blades of these snips are still pretty sharp, and no noticeable nicks in the blades! These flush cutters function smoothly, have a handy return mechanism (a metal bar that pushes the blades back open when you release it), the blades have an angle to aid cutting in weird/awkward positions and tight spaces, and not to mention the decently soft rubber grips! The grips don’t wiggle or come off eventually like other small plier/flush cutters I’ve used in the past. They won’t cause hand pain, though if you use these cutters for several minutes on end, they could, but why would you be doing that anyway?!BTW I spotted two differences from the product images and the actual product, first off, in the images you see on one side, there’s the exposed hinge/axle thing on the big rivet, that’s not there in the actual product, and that's not a bad or good thing, just an observation. Second, in the images you see “Delcast” in the little square on the grip, in IRL, the little square is blank. My two main uses for this flush cutter is cutting the excess “tail” of zip ties off, it’s cut them 100% flush if you apply a little pressure into the zip tie head, you could use nail clippers or a utility knife instead, but those are slightly harder or more dangerous (respectively), these cutters excel at cutting zip ties, as well as cutting off excess material off parts.Last note, when I bought this product, it was advertised to have a cutting capacity of up to 14 AWG, but now it’s inflated to 12 AWG. 12 AWG wire might be doable, but 14 AWG would be easier. One of my R/C buggy batteries have 14 AWG wires, I’ve attached a picture so you can get an idea of the thickness of a 14 AWG wire. I’m talking about soft wires, not like cables or solid metal pipes. If you’re cutting hard metal that’s decently thick, I *could* see a blade or two snapping off near where they connect to the handle as it’s thinner there, but normal use shouldn’t see that!Overall, I recommend these flush cutters, 5/5! (if they go above $9 or $10 though, maybe look at other options too)

Perfect for clipping a foot band off a cockatiel, cuticle trimming or plant cutters.
I bought these to clip the foot band off my cockatiel. My vet wanted $25 to do it. These worked perfect. They cut through the foot band with surprising ease. The ends are not sharp so you don't have to worry about hurting the bird. They slid very easily under the band. The entire process took about 45 seconds. It took me longer to wrap him in a towel and get him to hold still than it did to clip.In terms of sharpness and design, they're on par with fingernail clippers. They're craft wire cutters, NOT for your tool box. I've seen tools similar at the dollar store. If you think something would put a notch in your nail clippers, it'll do the same to these. I'm personally keeping them to cut dead stems on my plants. They leave a nice clean edge, and are small enough to carry in my pocket. My only complaint is that they don't have a clip to hold them closed. My daughter also uses these to clip her cuticles and nails when she's too lazy to find her nail clippers. They seem to work great for calluses as well. I've heard my son used them for thick foot dead skin as well. Luckily these are also super easy to sanitize!Note: if you're like me and got these for a bird band... Be aware - you WILL have a lot of dry/flakey skin under the band, and you WILL have so much grime in the band that you'll have a permanent horrified face for two days.

Great value, perform slightly above their rating
These work great, you get what you pay for, so don't expect super heavy duty, but for cutting plastic and some light-grade metal, these have exceeded my expectations and I'll be buying more. For a small little cutter, they don't seem cheap and work very well for automotive, fishing, general use around the house.

They work well, only one complaint
I am happy with these wire cutters. I've use them on 24 AWG solid core hook up wire and 22 AWG stranded wire with no problems. Not sure how they handle other types of wire and gauges. My only issue with these cutters are that at first they had a strong smell to them.

Cut face is not truly flat, but a good value
Such a good price! The handles are spring-loaded so you don't have to manually pry them open. They seem to cut well but the resulting cut face is not 'flush.' Because the two blades by-pass each other, the resulting cut face has a ridge down the middle. You have to file or sand that off to make the faces truly flat so well meet well enough for a good tight seam. RioGrande.com sells an incredibly large array of cutters and they show you what the cut face will look like. Sadly, the truly 'flush' cutters cost a lot, starting at $30 and some are nearly $100.

... Bought these cutters for crafting and they are much better than my hobby store cutters I bought several years ...
I Bought these cutters for crafting and they are much better than my hobby store cutters I bought several years ago. I use them for cutting wire, floral stems, and help bending thicker, less pliable items. I like the flush aspect to get a closer cut. The cutters are smaller and I feel a good fit for me, because I have smaller hands. They don't wear my hands out and seem to be pretty sharp.

Great price and Works well.
I was looking for a decent set of side cutters after my cheap ones broke that came with my 3d printer...I found these and the price was right..To be honest I didn't expect them to be very good but I was pleasantly surprised...I use them for electronics repairs as well as cutting 3d printer filament so they are used a lot and they are still working as good as the day I received them.

Awesome little flush cutters
I bought these because I was too cheap to spend $35-40 for a pair of MAC cutters. I’m a heavy duty mechanic and use them on a daily basis. They’ve been holding up great and do the job just fine. I would recommend them.
