This is an amazing little clock radio
Having read the reviews, I wasn't certain how this small clock radio would turn out and to my utter amazement, it is really a very neat and easy to operate clock radio. I am a senior citizen and wasn't sure how easy it would be to get the device working but the instruction book was simple and to the point and I had it working within 10 minutes out of the package. The face of the clock has a dimmer which is great and I have just left it dimmed as the dial is still readable. It is in the bedroom on a table next to the bed and the small amount of dimmed lighting on it does not bother me at all. Can only say that for the money, it is an amazing little clock radio. The radio station which I've tuned into comes in very clearly and the sound is quite good. I did have to unwind the antennae and drop it down over the side of the table to receive the great reception. Again, for the money this is an amazingly good clock radio with easy to operate buttons which are located very conveniently.

I'm actually amazed at how well this does what I need
I usually can't be bothered to write reviews, but this little clock made me so happy that I just had to. All I wanted was a reasonably sized radio alarm clock that had a digital tuner (I live in Seattle, so a manual wheel tuner just won't cut it unless you *really* like the sound of static in the morning). A red display was also important because it is the least bright color of light. I almost thought this clock was too good to be true for the price, but I went for it and I'm glad I did!The manual must have been updated as the diagram matched the clock and it was very simple to read and follow (as previous reviews said it was confusing to read). The clock is a nice size for my nightstand - neither too small nor too big and still easy to read. The tuner works well (I can finally get 103.7 and Sir Mix-a-Lot in the morning to come through loud and clear!) and the sound is just fine for a clock radio. Best of all, there aren't any unnecessary bells and whistles - I need a radio alarm clock, and this is it!This is only the first day, so if it dies or otherwise breaks I'll come back and update this, but if you're not sure if this will really do the trick, go for it! You can always return it, but I bet you won't.

Decent LITTLE clock radio, but TINY.
Ordered this because of the positive reviews regarding the very low display brightness when on low. Turns out it could be a lot dimmer for my use, still pretty bright on the dimmest setting, but not as bright as most. The radio itself sounds good, surprisingly good volume and tone from such a small speaker. It picks up distant stations on both AM & FM well. The unit is TINY, much smaller than I ever realized or I probably wouldn't have ordered. The display is fairly small, too, but after reading the description again all the measurements are right in the pictures so I must have missed them. Don't like the idea of tuning with buttons (no rotary dial) so I'm having a bit of trouble adapting to the lack of an old school dial. These things aside, not a bad little clock radio. Just make sure you realize how small this thing is - - for limited space it is the cat's meow. Think it's a bit overpriced for what it is, but then again it's got most of the bells and whistles you'll ever need. Still, folks who are used to the bigger old school radios of the 70's or 80's will most likely be in for a shock when you get this one. I'm going to repair my decades-old Emerson to use at the bedside and will move this new one to the spare bedroom where it will at least be more used.

It sounds like a tin box
I purchased this clock-radio for my wife to replace one that is about 40 years old. She really wanted one with a knob to turn on-off/volume and a knob and dial to tune to a station. This one has no knobs. After one month she has been able to set only one FM station and no AM stations. She says that you must use one hand and hold a button down while reading the instructions with your eyes and then push another button with your other hand a number of times and keep count in your head how many times you've pushed it. She also says that the sound is like a "tin box". The clock works and the radio works and it wakes her up in the morning so we are keeping it until we find a clock-radio with knobs that sounds better.

Look elsewhere for decent sound
Especially for my personal use, it's mostly tolerable. I listen to a lot of talk radio all day, so I've got a small radio or clock radio in every room. This one is in the kitchen, and I like very much that I can read the time from across the room...I haven't even bothered with trying the dimmer. I also like that all of the controlling buttons on the top of the radio are (unlike most inexpensive clock radios) CLEARLY marked, VERY easy to read (the clock radio and buttons are black, but the lettering on and for the buttons is a nice, bright, contrasting white....what a concept!!), and actually make sense! The only big downside for me is that the sound is extremely tinny and garbled sounding. As I said, I've got about 4 other radios or clock radios in the house for comparison, and even the one that was almost $8 less than this one has noticeably better sound quality (in a trade off, I suppose, for a frustrating button layout and readability situation). I'm not looking for high fidelity sound out of a $20 clock radio, but being able to understand human speech would be a worthy goal. If you just need something to wake you in the morning that has pretty much all of the expected functions, this product should be fine for you.

Simple, quality digital clock radio alarm. See pictures:
Picked this little guy up a few days back during a Lightning Deal. We just cut the cord so the clock on the cable box in my sons room was gone and he requested an actual clock. This digital alarm clock was just the thing. It has a nice, clear red digital display, simple programming and alarm operation buttons (although you have to manually re-set it for daylight savings time) and very nice FM reception with the included antenna cable. Overall, this little inexpensive alarm clock fits the bill perfectly for a bedroom setup and it can probably be used as a travel alarm clock if needed as well due to its compact size and battery backup. I attached a few pictures for reference. Good luck.
