Great for Rheumatoid Arthritis!
I bought this chopper for a friend because her Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) had gotten to the point where her wrists hurt so bad that she could no longer cut certain fruits and vegetables, which she loves so much. She was really upset at the fact that she could no longer eat oranges. I read the reviews and asked a question and noted that others with RA were able to use this.Well, my friend loves it! It actually cuts through an orange with the peel on. With most things she cuts, she can push the blade down with her arms, although with the oranges, she actually puts the cutter on the floor and uses her foot. While that might not be the perfect scenario, who cares? It works for her and she can now eat her oranges and all of the other fruits and veggies that she so loves. RA has not conquered her!

The checkerboard blade inserts are very difficult to clean. Food adheres and sticks and is extremely hard to remove. This takes up a lot of space on my kitchen shelf when stored with all of the various parts. You have to slice onions or other similarly shaped veges, fruits crosswise first in order for it to dice so it doesn't eliminate that part. I wish I had returned it prior to the return date but I missed that, thinking I'd use it more, however I did not.

Love this product. but I would rate it a 5 if it could handle harder potatoes. When I cut harder potatoes, it bends the metal cutting blades.

Used it once and the whole thing was stuck together after pressing my procduce through. We tossed it out.

waste of money
Its hard to use. Doesn't hold much in the storage container. Very hard to remove cover and food gets stuck in legs of unit.
