Earth 2
Another great book. With the introduction of the evil Superman, this book got better. Can't wait to read the next chapter.

Battle Cry Review
Earth 2: Battle Cry contains issues 13-16, 15.1 and annual 1. The new wonders decide to join in on a world army mission to turn public perception about them, which of course does go as planned. I like how flash, lantern and hawkgirl still don't work well together, as they are still total new at this. Issue 15.1 doesn't have anything to do with anything, and has huntress and powergirl from worlds finest on the cover. I assume that dc just needed a certain page count, and tossed this in for that reason. I would have preferred if they included issue 17 instead.

Great
Earth 2 is, at least I think, under rated series in the ex line of books. Great for people who know the old stories or those who have no knowledge of the dc universe

One of the most gripping re-inventions I have ever read from DC.
This is the third volume of this stunning series that stands head and shoulders above all others. I truly loved vol. 2 and the re-emergence of Doctor Fate with artwork that took my breath away. In this volume the artwork did not flow as well due to other pencillers filling in for Nicola Scott, and although their work is of a high standard, differences could be clearly seen. Plus, it felt as though this volume was more ‘setting up’ a big story arch rather than telling the actual story. Also, and I know this is a minor niggle, but niggle it did, but in volume two Green Lantern calls Hawkgirl by the name of Kendra. Here, she is given the name of Shiera Munoz-Sanders which is a faux pas which shouldn’t have happened. Besides that, this is still one of the most gripping re-inventions I have ever read from DC. The potential of this title is huge – and I can’t wait to find where we will be led.

Earth 2 vs. Steppenwolf
This volume includes issues 13-16 of the New 52 series 'Earth 2' as well as Earth 2 Annual 1 and the special villains issue 15.1 which features Desaad. Presumably, issue 15.2, which is the second villains issue, will be included in a subsequent volume of the series. I've quite enjoyed this series, although probably, this volume is the weakest collection to-date as the storyline feels a little fragmented as a result of the 'special' issues included in this collection. The storyline continues with an attack by the Earth government on Steppenwolf and his forces and as such, there is quite a lot of action and less story development. There are some surprises with new and returning characters and the artwork continues to be pretty spectacular. All in all a nice book and I will be back for volume 5.

Brilliant DC Book
Brilliant DC Book. Earth 2 is one of my favourite titles in DC Comics. I love the fact that this introduces the new Earth 2 Dark Knight.
