Whilst these are a suitable deterrent for any would be burglar to gain access to your property by using the fence, they're not very well made. Admittedly they're only moulded plastic, I get that, however if you try to cut or shape them, they fall apart as the plastic is quite brittle. On the fence top where I put them they're easy to use, I placed 3 small screws in each to secure them. They are not at all sticky, hence the need for screws (I was asked in the suggestions below this review) All in all I found them functional and a good deterrent from stopping pigeons sitting around on your fence tops poohing everywhere. The are discreet too, you barely notice them when they're applied.

Have Had Great Problems with large number of Birds using my fence as a "Garden Toilet " And also pecking at the wood on the top section . And due to the damage caused I have had to replace them. While looking for a Bird Deterrent came across these Plastic Fence Spike Sections' I ordered a couple of boxes and attached them to my new top fence sections and have not had ANY BIRDS SINCE. These Sections are of good quality and price and easy to fit . They can also be cut to size. A First Class Product.

Excellent value for money

Not as strong as I thought they would be. I still get the cats walking over them on the fence to get into my garden so , no real deterrent.

We purchased these as we were having issues with large birds perching on our fences and to put it nicely having a toilet onto our seating area. This has stopped this happening and they now venture into the lush green trees instead. They are not sharp, so no animal will get injured, they are just enough to keep the birds from landing. Good quality product and easy to install (so the hubby said!!)
