It works in two ways
My wife and I are in 70s and with this we took the bucket out, put it over our toilet and itworks great. But being seniors we know better we bought a second one that follows us around wherever we Gowdy our helpm of course with our help, it’s a carrot, no wheels! Maybe someday there will be an AI model that will automatically follow us wherever we go and it would be nice if it dumped itself!

Sturdy yet lightweight, easy to use and clean
Dad had ALS and passed recently, sadly, but this portable toilet was hugely helpful when he was still ambulatory (mobile). He was not a large or heavy man, average height and weight. I do believe this portable toilet would probably hold a much larger person as well - it was sturdy. I wanted to review this product because I remember the anguish of caregiving - watching someone I love rapidly decline - coupled with the overwhelming task of researching then purchasing medical equipment. I spent two years doing this, and feeling so lost and out of my depth. Much of the reading up on products was done at night, when I should have been sleeping. Exhausted but needing to quickly teach myself about various medical equipment, trying to help my parents by taking on the role of sourcing and buying much needed products. If I can help just one person in their time of need when having to buy medical equipment, then that makes me happy. So know that this is a good one. Easy to clean. We used "liners" that were just grocery store bags with wood shavings, like for a hamster cage. Doing that for feces only means you can put that bag directly into the garbage. (Sewage happens when feces and urine mix, so if you can use a handheld urinal or somehow keep urine out of the bowel movement in the liner, no sewage happens. Trickier for females though... So the question of 'WHERE am I supposed to put this stuff?!' is now answered. TMI? Maybe. But super helpful info if you're new this life.) Wether you're buying this as a foray into composting toilets, for camping, or for an ailing family member, or for yourself because you just can't travel far from the bed to the bathroom - whatever the reason, good luck on your journey and know that this portable toilet is a solid choice.

Great for adults and training potty for kids
My husband had a broken femur and had a hard time sitting on a hard toilet seat. I ordered this along with a cushion and it worked wonderfully! Good price. Love the adjustability which came in handy for a taller person. No longer need this for him but we now use it as a training potty for our children which has been an amazing help! Easy to assemble, very sturdy, and easy to clean.

It’s small not made for a big booty
I picked this brand because it had the fastest delivery. At first it was supposed to be delivered on Saturday then I got a message from the seller saying it would be delayed until Tuesday so I cancelled it but it ended up coming on Friday so that was weird. It was very easy to install and set up. I weigh 230 and it’s a small seat not that comfortable for your booty but it gets the job done . if your a bigger person this may not be the seat for you

Excellent Product
I have a broken leg and getting from my bed to the bathroom at night is tricky so having this commode next to my bed is the perfect solution. It was so easy to assemble, even before I looked at the instructions, light weight but sturdy, and I can tell it will be quite easy to clean. It was an excellent purchase for me to use on a temporary basis until my leg is healed.

Toilet Seat Needs to be Bigger
The riser was easy to put together. I can’t imagine that it can support 350 pounds. It’s so lightweight, which is great for maneuvering, and slides right over the existing, but it’s flimsy. The toilet seat is too small so it’s uncomfortable to use. Overall, it will work for my needs, thankfully, I’m not a. Larger person.
