I like having it because my iPhone stays charged for most of the day and night without needing a recharge. I've found that it needs to charge overnight for about 6 hours so that the phone and the battery get fully charged. I also find that I never to switch batteries every once in a while (it comes with 2) because after a while the battery takes longer to charge. It must get tired and needs a rest. So there's some management involved. My one big complain is that when I drop it, the whole case falls apart from the phone offering absolutely no protection. I had the other iBattz model that does offer protection but I gave it to my son because it was too big and heavy for me. He didn't like it either and I have it seating in a drawer. I wish that there was a happy medium.

I haven't tried other battery packs to compare, but have had repeated issues with the mini-USB port breaking on this case. It's a great addition and allows me to go all day without charging my iphone 4S. It protects it well and makes it a bit heavier, which isn't that big of a deal for the trade off of not having to charge 4 times a day.It's nice looking that it comes with extra batteries, but to be honest, it's never lasted long enough to need them, so seems wasteful. More so, I would prefer they include extra USB inputs, bc this is the issue.Had my first one for a year before it started showing an inconsistent connection. The USB input came loose. I was just under warranty, so they reluctantly sent me a replacement. Had this one for 4 months and was especially careful when plugging in, but it bit the dust last night.Better priced than Mophi and at least they will (reluctantly) replace it if it breaks within a year, but don't expect to have this for much more time than that.

This case is idiot proof. There is a battery indicator that is very straight forward. The number of lights it has is how munch capacity it has left. ie. 3/4 lights means 75%.The case itself is raised a little bit off the screen to protect it when it is dropped. The case is made of a hard plastic, and fits the iphone 4s, and I assume 4, perfectly. It does not cover the camera at all. The package comes with 2 1700mAh batteries, which with a full charge will almost triple the phones battery life. It also has a quick charge function so that if you are in a hurry it will give a pretty good charge as well. The port used to charge the phone and battery is a micro usb port. to charge both the phone and one battery completely takes about 6 1/2 hours.I contacted customer service about the case, they answered my initial question and each response within 30 minutes of each other. I'd recommend this case to anyone who uses their phone a lot.

Great fit, easy to use. Allows wifi syncing because iPhone 4S thinks its plugged in. Also, micro USB connection allows syncing directly to iTunes on my MacBook Pro. Adds considerable weight and thickness but for added battery I've, totally worth it. I play games, stream videos, listen to music, email, iMessage, text, surf, etc. other than running nav apps which really use up a lot of battery power, my ibattz holds up all day. Negative: photos with flash causes pics to white out or overexpose. That's the only reason I gave it 3 stars. The iPhone camera is my only camera so this accessory limits my low-light and night shots.

This product has a major flaw. The charge port where the mini usb hooks in became disconnected within the first month of use so it can no longer be charged. When it works it is great but it is too fragile to recommend. By the way, my family has had three of these and they all had the same issue. I really want to like it especially because it has removable batteries but it is not made well enough.

I loved this product when I first got it. However about 5 months into owning it - the battery stopped charging. I thought it was the charging cord, but now that I have bought a new charging cord - it's actually battery case itself that is no longer charging. I was very excited about this product - but now I realize it didn't pan out to be good quality.

Like many other reviewers I have had one battery fail already. It lasted about 6 weeks and and failed after less than 10 discharge/charge cycles. Otherwise the case has performed as expected. So far no connector problems

Essential for 4+ mile runs to simultaneously run MapMyRun app with GPS tracking AND play pandora music. Lifesaver if you are active and nowhere near a car or outlet charger. Comes with 3 interchangeable glossy hard cases which house a slim lithium battery (2 provided)! @$40, this is a steal- like buying two charging cases at a fraction of the cost of more popular brands that are $110 for one! I turn it on when battery depletes to 20%, it charges to 100% and still battery life remains for charging later!
