Real results! 3 months and we are convinced
Can't wait for my next order!! We Love This Product — Real Results for All 3 Dogs We’ve been using this daily with our three dogs, and the improvement has been amazing. 3 months and their teeth look at least 50% better, and their breath is noticeably fresher. The best part is how easy it is — no brushing, no stress, just sprinkle it on their food once a day. I love that it’s a pure seaweed formula with no artificial additives. It’s 100% natural and safe for both dogs and cats, which gave us peace of mind. It works by targeting the bacteria that cause bad breath instead of just masking it, and we started seeing results within a few weeks. Extra bonus: their water bowls aren’t slimy anymore after they drink, which really says a lot about how well this works. No more wrestling with toothbrushes or struggling to clean teeth. This has made oral care simple and effective, and our dogs don’t even notice it in their food. Highly recommend!

VETERINARY PROFESSIONAL REVIEW
As a VETERINARY PROFESSIONAL - This product is labeled by the VOHC which stands for VETERINARY ORAL HEALTH CARE which means VETERINARIANS approve the use of this product because it can work to help reduce tartar which is known to cause further dental problems in our industry. I can't express enough that this is worth trying for people who can't and will not brush their cats or dogs teeth daily but can implement this in their daily intake. I use it on my 3 dogs and my cat. I also can't express enough that this product has not been linked to any major health issues for the use of it. Please consult with your veterinary professionals in guidance and help if you are finding negative reviews on products. As the person below with the greyhound- Personally, I owned one. They are very sensitive breeds and also are very prone to a multitude of health issues. Dental disease is one of them. Any problems associated with your pets health I can promise you, was not linked to the product. As for taste, my cat eats it with her food dry or canned. They are the hardest of critters to trick. So it's approved by my cat for taste. Smell, I can't comment much because I don't think it is potent enough. It's worth using. Honest review from a veterinary professional.

Works good!
I bought this based on my vet's recommendations. I have 3 chi mixes so their teeth are always an issue. I got tired of getting bit and fighting tgem with brushing. So far (I've been using for about 1-1/2 months) it looks like their teeth are significantly improved with less tartar on them! I sprinkle 1 scoop daily on their breakfast. They dont seem to notice it and ive had no digestive issues. The only thing I dont like is the scoop is TINY! I had to pry it out of the bottle and am afraid to put it back in for fear of not getting it out again. Also, the handle is pretty short so its hard when you get to the bottom of the bottle to scoop product out. This is the only reason I took 1 star away. Highly recommend, just be aware of the scoop issues.

PlaqueOff - Amazing! WOW<- Vet Quotes
Product delivered the next day. Thank you! The scoop is tiny, relative to a pinch of product. Should last a while, even with large dogs. We find it unnecessary to risk their health under anesthesia for teeth cleaning. This is a very effective healthy addition to high quality food and regular cleaning toys/bones. We have a german shep that has chronic problems with tarter, this is the most effective product we've used and he likes how it tastes. 3/12/14 Update- In only 2 weeks, SIGNIFICANT changes. We saw our Vet today w/ GSD. Her quote: "Wow- he looks like he has shiny puppy teeth again! And his gums are improving. Amazing! What was that product again?" Wish I had taken Before-After photos. His breath has also significantly improved. It is "Amazing!" Really surprised to see results like these at all, let alone in 2 weeks. There are some build up areas close to the upper gum line remaining thus far (you know- in the 2 weeks of use ha and probably where the gums were swollen.) Vet could tell this area is also already receding. We used exactly as directed for large breed canines. I didn't expect to see anything for at least 6 weeks. The scoop is like the size of a small pinkie finger nail tip. I was looking at the scoop, looking at the 125Lb GSD, thinking "He has more sand under his toe nail right now than this scoop measures." I've been with Amazon- well since the garage days :) I think I've written 4-5 reviews total, including this one. I am a monthly avid, let's say "supporter" of Amazon. Huge fan of Amazon. The Wellness Complete Health dog food and this product cannot be praised highly enough. I also saw some product Trolls in comments as I prepared to update. Congenital heart failure? Someone forgot to Google "Canine Dilative Cardiomyopathy." 2nd tip for Trolling: If you're going to troll a natural, incredibly effective, ridiculously cost effective competitor who's main ingredient is seaweed, you're better off claiming it made your dog want to go to the beach or in this example, Copenhagen. ^5 Proden. We're grateful. Our beautiful boys are so happy and showing off their now pearly whites. Our Vet intends to recommend your product to others. I even wrote a review :)

Believed cause of excessive shedding, dandruff, & hypothyroid-like symptoms in greyhound.
We have used this product in our 3 yo greyhound's food for over a year (along with brushing her teeth regularly, and taking her in for her yearly dental cleaning), but have noticed no difference in the amount of build-up on her teeth or in her bad breath. We followed the directions for a dog her size (she's 65lbs), and used two scoops a day in her food. As other reviewers have stated, greyhounds have notoriously bad breath and dental problems, so maybe that could account for the product's ineffectiveness? But that's not even my biggest complaint with this product. My biggest issue is that I believe this product caused excessive shedding, dandruff, and other hypothyroid-like symptoms in my greyhound. The breed typically has low thyroid function already, and there is debate on whether or not it should be treated with medication. Unfortunately, our girl was shedding so excessively that she was beginning to bald all over her body (not just the hind quarters). Her belly also went from being pink to a near black color. I took her into the vet, tested her for hypothyroidism, and her t4 levels came back extremely low -- even for a greyhound -- and we had to start her on a synthetic hormone. She was only 2 yos at the time of this diagnosis, which is extremely young for a dog to already be treated for under active thyroid. She was on the synthetic hormone for 7 months, and there was no difference in her shedding, dandruff, or the color of her stomach. In fact, it worsened. Two months ago, I took her back in for more testing. It appeared the synthetic hormone was working, so there shouldn't be any reason for her continued symptoms. The vet was actually concerned that increasing her dosage would shift her into hyPERthyroidism based on her blood panel results. I did some reading and decided to stop giving her PlaqueOff. She has now been off of it for a month. Within two weeks, her stomach changed back to her normal pink color, she is not only NOT shedding, but her coat is shiny and growing back in, and there is NO dry skin or dandruff. I can't prove this product caused hypothyroidism or hypothyroid-like symptoms in my greyhound, but I can tell you that enough improved once I removed PlaqueOff from her food, that I'm beginning to wonder if she even truly has an under active thyroid. I plan on taking her into the vet soon to talk about this and possibly have more t4 panels taken. Another side note: Our greyhound has also routinely had issues with diarrhea and extremely soft stools. We tried feeding her Kirkland's Signature grain-free dog food -- bouts of diarrhea continued. Then we tried Taste of the Wild - bouts of diarrhea continued. Merrick -- bouts of diarrhea continued. Finally, after we stopped giving her off PlaqueOff she has healthy stools. I hope this isn't a common problem, but if it is, I hope this review helps anyone else who is experiencing similar symptoms in their dog.

Good product
Was very easy to use and odor was not offensive. My dogs loved it however because it contains seaweed which is high in salt it made one of my dogs urinate so much had to stop it. The product is good and works just not for us.

works great but don't be a fool !!!
This really worked! My 4 year old dog was beginning to get plaque and there is truly no sign of it now. But don't be a dummy- look at the ingredients and then buy the one ingredient without the expensive label. You can buy the same ingredient in organic human grade for a FRACTION of the price. I appreciate the brand for introducing me to a truly effective way to car for my dog's teeth (and my own!) but I am not a fool. I will absolutely repost this review if it is removed.

I was skeptical, but am seeing results on cat's gums
My cat has gingivitis on her upper front incisors and some redness around her upper fangs-- some mild to moderate redness all over. She might be missing one of her small front teeth. We booked her in for a dental vet visit, but I was worried that she was in pain, as she was sleeping a lot and licking at her front teeth sometimes. She's only 3 years old but has had red gums ever since we adopted her at 9 mo old. I bought this plaque-off powder wondering if it would actually do anything because some commenters were leaving miraculous reviews like "Plaque is falling off my dog's teeth" which seems truly unbelievable. However I decided to give it a shot. Use as described on the bottle-- the scoop is extremely small and for a cat they only need 1 scoop per day. It can be added to wet or dry food, I have been mixing 1/4 to 1/3 scoop per wet food meal, or sprinkling just a little bit on top of dry food and then sprinkling water on, to help it stick. Although my cat is VERY picky, she didn't reject the flavor of the powder at all (it appears to just be kelp, so smells like furikake or nori) and ate normally. As for results: It takes time to work, so don't be impatient. After about 5 days I began to see a reduction in swelling and redness in her gums-- they had been so inflamed that there were microdroplets of blood along the tooth line, and this reduced dramatically in about a week. The vet agreed she had inflammation and she is scheduled for a full cleaning, but in the meanwhile we are continuing the Plaque off Powder in her food. We have two cats (the other has no tooth issues at all), and because they tend to swap food bowls while eating, we are putting the same amount of powder in each bowl of food so each cat is getting the same dose roughly. Neither has had any stomach issues (which I would suspect would indicate an allergy), or any other intolerance to the powder. The cat with gingivitis has continued to show reduced redness, though her gums are not back to smooth pink yet, they are CLEARLY improved and she is more energetic and happy, which shows the pain is reduced as well. For the price I certainly have to recommend this as a daily additive. [Edit] For those having trouble retrieving the scoop from the tiny bottle, I put a piece of tape on the outside and taped the scoop on the outer part of the bottle, leaving a little 'slot' for the scoop handle to go in. You could also use a rubber band! Results of my cat's cleaning and dental operation: She needed to have 2 premolars extracted just on one side, which had probably been a problem ever since we adopted her-- her other teeth are all fine! I continue giving the ProDen to both cats as a preventative measure because they seem to have absolutely no problem with it, and it's better to be proactive!

Buen producto
Funciona bien para prevenir y frenar la aparición de sarro en los dientes de mis perros. Tiene un olor a mar intenso, pero mezclado con la comida se lo comen muy bien.
