No way its ultra soft, maybe soft before covered. Medium-hard at best. Visual thumb test doesn't work. Have to use a gel cover. Width is good. Short horn is easy on crotch. Gel cover compensates for tight springs, too. Overall good bandaid setup temporarily.

Post review edit: customer service contacted me and were really helpful and sent me the elastic spring version on the seat. ASIN #BOD17M851SThat one works great, stays sturdy , no noise whatsoever. 5 starts for excellent customer service and replacementClunky, noisy, shifts when you move, overall just not quality. The seat cushion and build itself is fine, it's just the frame and suspension that is bad.

All butts are not created equal
This bike seat was a definite upgrade for my exercise bike. I could only exercise 30 minutes on the old seat, and I can do an hour on this one. What is comfortable for me may not be comfortable for you. All butts are not created equal. This is the second model of "comfort" seat I tried, the first one from a different manufacturer was cheaper, but not an improvement, so I returned it. Check the return policy before you buy any aftermarket bike seat. This is not a huge bike seat- use the measurements to see how big it will be compared to your current seat. It seems well constructed, but the people using it in my house weigh 170 and 190, it might not hold up for someone well north of 200 pounds. I thought the price was a bit high, but reducing pain while exercising is worth it. It's not a magical seat- getting cardio on a bike, leaning forward while pulling the arm levers will create pressure on your seat and private parts that is not completely omfortable. But in your search for an upgrade, this seat should be one of the first you try.

I thought it would be softer!
This is WAY more comfortable than the eBike seat I originally have, however it is not as soft as I thought it would be. I still like it, just wish it was softer.

Great seat
The reviews are right on, feels very comfortable. I'm a heavy tall man and it handles my weight just fine. This seats 10x better than the stock bike seat I was using that was causing me pain and numbness.
