Product Description: Snakes and Ladders are based on a game called “Moksha Patamu”, once use in India for religious instruction. The simple race game is popular with children as it depends purely on Luck and they can also spend time together with family or friends. It is played between two or more players on a gameboard having numbered, gridded squares. A number of "ladders" and "snakes" are pictured on the board, each connecting two specific board squares. Any number can play, each having their own distinctive marker, which is entered on the board only with a throw of 6 on the cubic dice. The makers move on the number of squares indicated by the upturned face of the dice. If the marker lands on the foot of the Ladder, the marker moves to the top rung, while the marker landing on the head of Snake descends to the tip of its tail. Get Good LUCK!! :) Direction: 1. Each player gets a different colored peg. Players move their pegs by rolling the dice. 2. In order to start, each player must throw a 6. 3. Playing 4. The first player to roll a 6 throws the die again and moves his/her peg along the board from the first square according to the dice. 5. If a player throws 6, he/she has a second throw. 6. If a peg lands on a snakehead it must follow the snake down to the tail, but if a peg lands on a bottom of a ladder, it moves straight up to the top of the ladder. 7. Ending 8. The game ends when one player lands on the end peg exactly.
