Does what it needs to do. I like that it is not the cheap rubbery type you often find in the big box stores that don't fit flush against the wall. This one is a hard plastic that fits perfectly. It did arrive with a tear in the packaging resulting in all the screws falling out somewhere before it got to me but Amazon replaced it right away.

You can get this at your local Home Depot or Lowe's of course, for more money. So buy it online with some other things to avoid shipping costs if you're not in an emergency rush situation, and take advantage of the low online price.There's really nothing special to say. It's a cover plate (with supplied screws) the same as all others. Probably in 20 years or so it will become brittle and need replacement, but that's pretty normal.Five stars for value for the money.

After not finding this exact faceplate in any local hardware stores, I was relieved to see Amazon carries it. I ordered two for my kitchen, and both arrived unharmed in plastic packaging.The paint on the screws was flawless and didn't chip off during installation, and the rigid plastic formed a tight seal on the wall around the outlet and switch. The plastic is reinforced so it won't crack.In some ways, I like the more flexible plastic you find in some cheap switch covers, since the cover will conform to uneven walls better... however, it's not a big deal that this wall plate is not flexible, since it doesn't affect the functionality of this wall plate.

It's cover plate, an ivory one made of plastic...what's not to love? It will provide a neat and finished appearance to your wall switched. By using this you can be rest assured that you will not be electrocuted when fumbling for the switch with wet hands in a dark room!

every thing was as expected

I purchased this to finish the instillation of a Enerlites HET01 7 Days Digital In-Wall Programmable Timer. It fit perfectly and made the instillation complete.

When the plate is so old it needs to be changes, one might think the srews also need to be replaced. Yet this comes with no screws.

Too brittle compared to conventional wallplates. I am a handyman and I have changed many single and a few double wallplates. This one cracked with the same force I usually use.
