Helen Oxenbury's brilliant board books have delighted a generation of babies. Now from the most widely loved of artists comes a reissue of a board book to help very young children explore their worlds. In I CAN, a baby creates his own wonders as he jumps and stretches and dances. Full of character and humor, this charming book forms a winsome introduction to creativity and movement. Review: A favourite - My daughter likes to copy the actions from this book, especially stamping her feet. Again these simple one word books are fun and easy to elaborate on what it is that the little toddler is doing. Sweet illustrations. We have the whole series now, a firm favourite. Review: Not a waste of money - Good book! My son is just loving it. I like the pictures that are big and only one word which makes my son more interested. Kids are withdrawn to the pictures not on the writings.so loving this book

Sweet little book
We have always loved Helen Oxenbury's book, ever since my oldest child was a baby. The illustrations are simple, but they still leave lots of room to 'discuss' with a little one. Babies love looking at human faces, and this book definitely fits the bill! We also love the single word isolations. I can't wait to give this book to my youngest son for Christmas, I know he'll love it as much as his older brother did!

My nephew’s FAVORITE book!
I was SO HAPPY to come across this book while shopping for a baby shower!! This was my nephew’s faaaaaaavorite book when he was little (20 years ago)—so little that when I’d read, “I can jump”, the farthest he could get off the ground was his tippy toes. So, I bought 2 of these and plan to keep one to give to my nephew for if/when he becomes a dad.

Simple actions companion. Durable board book format. Although the illustrations don't stand out vibrantly like an Eric Carle book - it's much better loved by my daughter than say the Very Hungry Caterpillar. It's a quick, practical, fun read my daughter can relate to any time of the day or night.

Cute book. Do not expect big story lines. Each page simply has a picture with the baby showing an action and that action written down. Example of the front cover. "I can lift my leg" with the corresponding picture.

Great "first books - Montessori approved!
Great book for wee ones. The images are realistic and simple. I love that these books aren't busy like so many books. It helps my daughter focus on one thing at a time to have simple things to look at. This will also be great when she is first learning words.

Action Book for Toddlers
This is an amazing book. Dharma loves reading it, seeing the pictures and immitating the actions. The simple liistrations, the action orientation of the book and big pictures provide a great way to engage toddlers. I have had summer toddler party games themed on this book. :)

The best in this series.
So enjoyable if you read and do the actions at the same time with your kiddy. My 2 years old daughter came to be able to do somersault by this book. Sorry but the others in this series are not so much recommended.
