Mary Berry's Absolute Favourites

I bought this used. The book is in good condition, no missing pages and the dust jacket is intact. I kind of like the notations, notes and the sticky note page savers that show dishes that were cooked. It made me feel as if it were handed down from family.

This was probably one of the best deals I've gotten on Amazon....I got this used and it's in perfect condition and it's much bigger and much better quality than I imagined...got this for $3....$3.....crazy. Can't wait to make some recipes.

This woman, Mary Berry, is so much more than the Great British Baking Show she became famous for. Her videos and books show us a charming, easy-going, cook who has developed wonderful recipes for all kinds of meals. Full-page, gorgeous photos throughout! She stresses how easy her step-by-step recipes are to make, and I find her books to be a permanent extension of her delightful TV series/videos. The book presents, as stated, her favorites, with tips and advice to make food prep easier and foolproof. Whether a longstanding cook like me or a newcomer to the stove, Mary will help you make splendid, tasty food. It’s a treat to feel like I am in Mary’s kitchen with her!

great easy recipes and a great book to read and page through

I love Mary Berry and enjoy all of her cookbooks but this book is fabulous! So many great recipes, well laid out with beautiful pictures! Many prep photos included as well as finished product photos!

Mary Berry is such a fabulous baker and I expected her book to just be recipes on baking. No!!!! To my great surprise, there are recipes for salads and entrees as well as baking. This cookbook is aptly titled, Absolute Favorites (of Mary Berry). This cookbook gives a deeper sense into the personality of this lovely British baker and cook and I am sure will please almost every cook! The seller, World Of Books, gave great service though the delivery of the book was delayed I assume due to the COVID 19 virus, and I would buy from this seller again.
