So far, so good
20220511. I purchased this to fill weep holes with the hope of excluding rodents. So far, so good. I live out a ways from town, and we have a lot of field mice. Application. The mesh is easy to install, I finished my entire house in about an hour. Cut a strip off with scissors, fold, and push into the weep hole with the spatula. Pretty simple. I inspected the mesh this weekend, all have remained in place. So far, no mice in the walls.

Works great -- even keeps out ants!
I bought it to put in my weep holes in my brick to keep out rats and mice. Even though I only cut about a six inch long strip to stuff in each hole, it works so well that it even caused ants to find a different hole in my mortar to use to gain entrance! I hadn't even noticed the ants until I saw them headed up the wall to a little hole in the mortar! (At that point, I was able to dust with ant poison.) I would not have guessed that this loose mesh could keep out ants, but once it gets stuffed in, the remaining holes are too small for these relatively large ants! (And, no they're not termites; I checked!)

Copper Mesh Filler Wire
I purchased this product to place around some of my flowers to keep snails & slugs away. It seemed to work. It came as advertised. I had to be careful when I cut the mesh; it shed tiny pieces of wire. Wear gloves when handling mesh wire.

Actually works
I have an old house with tons of small openings that critters use to get in. This stuff is great to stuff into those spaces and works great. It also hasn't rusted like the steel wool I used to use. It can be cut with regular scissors too which makes it really easy to use. Highly recommend.

Best money spent - pest control recommended and took minimal time to install.
Living in Texas and in a new home I was struggling with scorpions getting into the house. I had a pest control person come out and they were going to charge $350 to install - he told me about this and said it was the same thing they would do. It took maybe 30 minutes to fill each weep hole around the exterior stone and we have had absolutely no scorpions since. Grateful the pest control guy suggested, it saved me a ton of money and did the job!

Sturdy and large quantity copper mesh
Copper mesh was larger than expected. Little wood that comes with it is great and convenient. Sealed up all holes. Have to really stuff the holes with this stuff though. Not tight enough and the mice will drag it to other places, yikes!

Used it to protect a vacuum hose from packrats.
I used this mesh differently than it has been used in the examples. It was wrapped around a vacuum hose in my truck that pack rats keep chewing through. It has cost me $500 in replacing this hose in the past. Now, it has about a quarter inch of copper mesh wrapped around itsโ length. It was easy to use and provides a barrier to the rodent teeth. Hope that it works!

Blocks mice
Mice were climbing into my attic via the mini split hose housing attached to the house. This copper mesh filled in the spaces where the hoses entered the housing. I used electrical tape to secure the mesh. The copper will not rust, and mice do not like to chew through it. Use gloves and eye protection when cutting and handling the mesh.
