This season has been horrible with the cold and flu going around. My husband and I have both had the cold and my little one has just been congested (thankfully). Having an easy to use thermometer around has been great. It comes with a docking stand - and is readily available to use with the batteries that come with it. There's a step by step guide to go with it, or you can be like me and just play around with it to see how it works and then use the guide to see if you used it right! With a few clicks you get your temperature right away. It's accurate too! I would definitely recommend this!

We finally needed to use it last night/this morning. My son had been screaming bloody murder since 2am. We took his temperature because he felt warm. In his ear, the reading was 97.5. Forehead it was 98.1. I took the temperature multiple times and those were ranges I was getting. I finally ran out to buy a new forehead thermometer as soon as the closest pharmacy opened. I bought the CVS brand forehead thermometer and got a reading of 100.3!!!! Thank goodness for local pharmacies. 2- 3 degrees off if unacceptable!

I love the many functions of this ear and forehead thermometer. It was handy to be able to pull right out of the box and use with our first temperature reading for my son. I like the ease of switching from forehead to ear. That is really convenient because, of course, I always take both readings. I also liked how you can take temperature readings of the room, bath water, and other different things. I like the pouch to store on the go, and the stand where my husband can see it right in front of his eyes! Definitely my go-to thermometer now.

This was not in the least hard to figure out, but being the impatient person I am I ended up not reading the small little card of directions nor the booklet. I could have saved myself so much time and frustration. I am the stupid person going OH how easy was that once I did give in to sit down and give it a conscious effort by reading and applying what i read. Its all standard, but i was concerned when at first i was getting different readings from either ear. Ends up i had my left ear facing the A/C so of course it will be lower. This comes with a carry bag for your purse if need be or in a diaper bag, there is silent mode, fever alert if its dangerously high and non contact with the forehead. I personally really like using the ear feature but again while all standard I really didnt realize the front cover twist off. So embarrassed. At first I thought this was great. I didnt seem to have a problem with accuracy but my baby hadnt been sick. Well my 15 month old was burning up and this thing was reading 98.7 and nothing over. I knew that wasnt right. I changed batteries and nothing changed. Was even lower... I got my good old basic one out and it read 101.9. With that much of a difference I wont depend on this anymore.

I love this thermometer. I've bought a couple traditional ones recently, and they're ok, but this one is non invasive, and not scary for little ones. I think it's really cool that you can measure object temperature as well, and it would have come in super handy when i was using bottles. I like the base, because it makes the thermometer easy to access and i dont have to dig around in a box for it. Plus, it measures the temp in about 2 seconds, so it's easy to catch wiggly kids and do a reading quickly.
