AnvilBrewing Pump

Worked great
Brewed a batch yesterday using this to transfer my sparge water. Only complaint is that the ports are not threaded. So you have to attach fittings using a small piece of tubing.I knew this when I bought it. So no deductions on stars based on that. But it would be nice. But for the price, it worked perfectly.

Perfect!!
Great little pump!! The only thing that would make it better is if it had threaded nipples.

Solid Performer
I use two of these with bottle filling from 15 gallon drum of chemicals (not beer). I connected a spout tip as you find on water dispenser with 2" hose off spout tip end to direct and control flow.... perfect set up and fast.

Great pump for the money
I like it so much I'll be waiting for a couple weeks until they can replenish the stock delay due to the COVID nonsense

Works Again
Revised Review:With the help of customer service via email, the pump is working again. I needed to remove the white housing by tapping it from behind with a little hammer. Tested with the housing off and the magnet spun freely. So I guess the housing can bind the motor somehow. Put it all back together and it's working normally. I have my doubts about the long term reliability of this pump. But there are not that many parts to break, and they sort of look replaceable. I'd rather have a variable speed DC pump I think.Original Review:Currently a one star pump pending Anvil's customer service response. The little pump worked great four times. Attempted to use it this weekend and it's dead. Looks perfect. Cleaned after every use. Not even sure how it could not work. Hopefully Anvil will back the five month old product. Otherwise, look elsewhere. I'll update this review.

Good for the money. Decent flow rate
This is a great pump for the money. I use it on batches to create a whirlpool and transfer into the fermenter. Although it claims up to 10 gallons batch size, I don't think it would have enough power for a strong whirlpool that big given what I've experienced with it. But at a fraction the price of other pumps out there it's a great option for typical 5 gallon (give or take) batches of beer.Anvil (Blichemann) make great products for the price.
