Against the grain
Good read! Challenges your thoughts on the population of the Americas. The first 4 chapters seemed not to fit the Title but, after reading chapter 5 on the Solutrians, I got where it was going. In my book on human evolution, Grandfather's Tale, I noted that North American Anthropologists and Archeologist just don't question other's science but often attack the character of those they disagree with. Gregory Little confirmed my observation with his theory that the first Americans came from the South Pacific. Read it with an open mind.

Great Book!
When I ordered this book I knew it would be a good book but it wasn't - it's a great book! The authors wrote in a manner that even I could understand the subject & complex information! It's is so interesting and really makes you think about the past and recent discoveries! I would highly recommend this book and any other book written by these authors!!!!

A new mystery to dig into
Actually, still reading. But like what I read so far. I had never heard of the Denisovan before. Until I had my DNA done for the Genographic study. Later found both my parents carry it. Plus Neanderthal. So considering my very crazy mongrel heritage, I figuredAfter I tracked all the people from all over as best I could. I would go way back and learn about these very big people, who are pretty intriguing. So been a good read. Maybe I will figure out if my ancestors carried it out of Siberia, or somewhere else someday.

Not as stunning as promoted, but worth reading.
I've read 30+ books on pre-Egyptian history and this has some of the best research. There are no stunning revelations but the theories are consistent with the evidence. One more nail in the coffin of traditional ancient history.

Life is an ever changing journey
I found this book very interesting because I have been thinking along these line for awhile. There is a remarkable increase in Autism. Perhaps we will find one day the majority will display this phenomenon. It is an interesting question to think on, we see ourselves as the norm but are we? We continue our journery.

Must read for genealogy buffs
Very interesting. Just started it, hard to put down. I show Denisovan, Clovis Montana, Kennewick Man in my DNA. Traced my ancestors to VA tribes and match the Mik Maq of Nova Scotia.

Greg Little is the best
When I saw that Greg Little was co-author of this book, I had to have it. Greg is a no-holes-barred, down-to-earth expert on North American mounds. Wilson wrote the first half of the book, and Little wrote the second half. I gave it three stars because Wilson relies heavily on modern dating methods that are based on a first assumption of the age of the earth that is pure opinion.

Early human migrations
I found it very interesting to learn that previous humans had developed high cultures, about their achievements and migrationsThese migrations have not been proven, but could seem likely.

Disappointing
I've read many of the author's other books, but this one didn't quite work for me. It felt repetitive. Disappointing.
