How Do You Say Good Night?

I love this book but it hasn’t been my son’s favorite (he’s only 18 months). However, he is warming up to it and I suspect that as he gets a little older he will love it as much as I do. It teaches you different nighttime/bedtime phrases from around the world but does so in a charming way. It’s also illustrated well.Side note-When I say it’s not my sons favorite I mean he doesn’t pick it often when I ask him what books he wants to read (I pick two and ask him to pick one). However, whenever I read it to him he sits through the entire book even at 16-17 months.

I love teaching my little girl words in different languages and she loves learning them so this book was awesome. We say goodnight in all different ways now! The rhyming in the book stays consistent with the "goodnight" in the other language, which I really liked. And the pronunciation provided on the page made it very easy to say the words and follow along. Cute illustrations as well! Overall, it was very well put together and this will be a staple in our nighttime reading routine!

My two year old loves this book, she asks for it by name at bedtime, and after a couple weeks is starting to repeat some of the good night phrases (having the pronunciations is a huge plus). A great little intro to some other languages/cultures around the world and some very nice drawings to accompany them. I'm a fan as it isn't too text heavy, a very easy read to get her to start falling asleep.
