This is a terrific hand-made trinket box.Beautifully finished, solid & sturdy.When I ordered this trinket box, I had the idea of mounting a music box mechanism inside, and according to the inside dimensions, it should have fit.The problem arose when the soft inner lining of the box took up too much space around the edges for the mechanism to mount, thus only receiving four stars.The inside lining is very nice and everything about this box is quality & fine craftsmanship. The detail is extraordinary and visually appealing.Feel confident when purchasing this box is you have any reservations about quality or aesthetics. Well made and coated with a polyurethane-type finish.

Was in Spain and bought a couple Wood/Mother of Pearl boxes. Family loved them so went looking on line and found this box. Gve to family member. She loved it.

I little smaller than I thought it was but the detail is so beautiful. It makes a perfect gift for anyone that loves boxes.

Very small and very cheap! Inside dimensions are much smaller than box dimensions. Latch was broken. Whole box seemed misaligned and very cheaply built! I returned it!
