Best hand seamers out there
The lock doesnt open unless you want it to, also if you squeeze the handle it opens so you don't have to manually flick the lock to use them. Able to bend metal with accuracy and leverage, much more solid than my old malco's. Love it

Better then malco!
I enjoy these as I use them just about every day. The other technicians I work with have the Malco versions of this and I like these better. I just like Klein Tools best. And Malco overcharges like crazy. And these are cheaper and they're made by a better company. Great quality and I like that the clasp that holds the tool shed can be undone just by squeezing the tool once. So you don't need to unclick a lock or spin a wheel. You just squeeze it once and it's ready to use.

Decent quality
I’m a sheet metal guy so I use these alot, the quality isn’t bad they don’t feel that strong however. Will get the job done. If you don’t want to spend the money for Malco tools I would recommend these !

Strong
I like them. They work well. I sometimes wish the clamp heads could be switched out with larger deeper ones. I would prefer the handles (1) lock like a vise grip (when desired), and (2) when closed, I wish they would present a smaller dimension when locked. (My belt-pouchs are already filled with hand tools.)(*Caution: I attached a lanyard to the rubber handle but the rubber handles are not securely fastened to metal tangs. The metal clamps slipped out of the handles & fell while I was very high up, on the scaffolding. Thankfully, no one was hurt & the clamps weren't damaged beyond a few dings. *I was able to rivet each side of the rubber handles to the metal tong in order to prevent them from coming apart. Now I can confidently use them with lanyards.)

Well Designed and Sturdy
This hand seamer is a pretty simple tool, and it works well for bending thin guage metals. I used it for bending steel mesh rain gutter screen which it handled with ease.Very good product and easy to use.

Junk
After four months of use in architectural sheet metal they are wore out to the point that they no longer grip sheet metal, squeezing the handles tight result in the jaws being nearly 1/8” apart. I went back to using my twelve year old malco that has a broken spring and are fairly worn, but are still better than the Klein. I do not recommend buying.

Doesn’t fully close.
1/8th gap at back of jaws when fully closed. Not the quality I expected.
