Multiple Manufacturers CH1220116V Sherman Replacement Part Compatible with Jeep Cherokee-Wagoneer Header Panel (Partslink Number CH1220116)

I actually had to order this product twice. The first time it arrived, it was only packaged in two heavy layers of plastic - similar in quality to a heavy gauge yard trash bag. There were four small Styrofoam blocks semi-protecting the two mounting tabs on each end, but a couple of those weren't taped securely and had fallen off in transit. Needless to say, the header panel arrived broken in numerous spots. I filed a report with Amazon and they shipped out a replacement the next day. The only drawback there was that the first was ordered via Amazon Prime and arrived in 2 days but the replacement was shipped out standard ground and took the better part of a week. Bad form Amazon!The second arrived packaged the same way with the addition of being enclosed in a large standard gauge cardboard box, which looked like it had been well tossed about. I crossed my fingers upon opening and was surprised - but delighted - to find the header panel in one piece.The header panel itself was the correct size and mounted without any problems. The panel came with the two long bolts which held the headlights in and the 6 plastic clips - also for retaining the headlights. Total installation time took about an hour and a half but if I had to do it again, could easily be done in 45 minutes or less.A couple of suggestions - before starting, purchase a set of the plastic replacement clips which hold the bumper cover on the sides and on the bottom as mine pretty much all shattered trying to get them off (3 on the bottom - 6 for the two sides). If you're replacing the grill as well, you'll also need the small metal slide on clips which fasten the grill and support structure to the bumper cover grill support.

Worked as intended.

It was delivered on time, but was in nothing more than a bag. I didn't realize at the time but it was damaged. I installed it and it seemed to go fine, but I did notice that the headlight had a lot of movement in them once installed to header panel. Well tonight I was changing the oil in my wifes Jeep when I noticed that there were tabs on each side of the header panel that bolted to the front sheet metal, tabs that weren't on this product. I inspected mine closer and discovered that those tabs indeed were there at one time, but were broken off in shipping. My fault for not checking, but proper packaging would have prevented this.
