So far so good. I have not had the tummy trouble like I did with another brand....I think the other brand was raw but it did not state that either way on the bottle. So far (and it has almost been a week) I have started having better deeper sleep. I am taking it to help lessen the effects of PCOS. Something I am sure I will be struggling with my whole life. I am taking it with Inositol. I started with one in the morning on an empty stomach and will move up to 2 soon. I need this energy bad as I am now running after an 18 month old boy. I hope the effects of this superfood keep lasting. Thanks!Update: Unfortunately soon after writing this post I had to stop taking it. I believe it started throwing off my hormonesmore and that is not what I wanted given I was taking it for PCOS. Mine you I was only taking 1 pill a day. I started gaining alot of fluid and other weight. My sleep became worse. I start breaking out in acne on the right side of my face and back. I started having stomach issues in the middle of the night. I also become overly hungry in the middle of the night like I was pregnant again. (I have only been pregnant once but I remember the feeling). I also started feeling depressed -no energy like I did not want to get out of bed. Nope! I stopped taking it and my stomach stopped hurting and the hunger pains went away. I read somewhere that this can happen as your body get used to it and to wait it out. I could not bare the stomach pains anymore. I also could not wait out the weight gain because it was causing heart burn and other issues. Nope. Maca is not for everyone. Everyone's body works and reacts differently. It started out well but it quickly went to hell. I am trying Inositol and Choline now for my PCOS. Praying it helps.
