I rack mounted this in my 24u enclosed cabinet for my AV receiver and it works very well. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good cooling solution with a lot of headroom. I have never had to go above fan setting 3 of 6, because it cools it very well. The controls could be a bit more intuitive but this product is for the enthusiast or professional so that is to be expected.I would not have this somewhere were there is not a physical barrier between you and the rack. Mostly because of the noise, as this was something I was concerned about. If I keep the door open I can hear the fans but it's very low, once I close the door you can't hear anything.Pros:Relatively quietAesthetically pleasingTemperature sensor is accurateFans have good static pressureCons:Controls can be a bit confusing to the average user

Works well

Be aware that the total depth on this unit DOES NOT include the space required for the probe and power cables. This unit is listed as 34.3 cm (13.5 in). My rack is only 13.78 in. in depth. I bought it assuming it would fit fine. However, the probe and power cables require an additional 1.5 cm (0.59 in) minimum to fit. This made the unit too deep for my wall mounted rack. I will have to look at fitting spacers on the front (not ideal) or cutting a hole in the rack that is already fully populated and mounted.Can’t comment on how it works as I haven’t been able to get it installed yet.

I purchased this unit to fit in the rack space directly over my new Denon AVR (which tends to run very warm). This unit effectively pulls in cool air through the bottom and sides of the AVR and blows it out the front of the rack. One of the best features of this product is the flexibility of programming in how I want the fans to run, and at what temperature threshold I want them to turn on/off. I have purchased other AC Infinity fans in the past for different applications and I'm very familiar with the quality of products this company produces. I would recommend this product or any other AC Infinity product to anyone. These are quality products and a great value for the money.

Great product. Fit well in the rack. Can't hear the noise level at all. Temp control works great, it comes on when needed and shuts off when not needed. Great buy.
