Q: Anybody had did difficulties turning the allen key? it seems to get stuck. the seat is looser, but won’t lift off. have used wd40, and we are turning

I had no problem fitting the replacement hinge, although a little fiddly with limited clearance behind the hinge. I did fit the part to the pan and and bolted the hinge to each side a couple of times for adjustment first before attaching the seat and finally tightening using the allen key provided.

Q: Will they suit for TC Corsica soft closing toilet seat ?

Check the fittings on your existing one to see if they are the same

Q: Can these be fitted to a seat that didn’t have soft closers The plastic horizontal plugs on my old ones are 9.7mm dia and 22mm long

The hinge themselves contain the soft close mechanism

Q: The plastic plugs wont fit into the hole in the hinge

I found that. It seems that the holes on the toile seat where flattened on one side and the hinge spindals where round so the wouldn't go all the way through
