Vantec 4-Channel 6-Port SATA 6Gb/s PCIe RAID Host Card with HyperDuo Technology UGT-ST644R

I have tried a few times now. Even switching the jumpers and buying a new esata cable. It does not work for me at all for Windows 11. Usually my old system, I had a e-sata port on the motherboard which worked flawlessly. It's too late for me to return this. Drivers are old too when you check them.

EDIT: Five months of steady use (work from home) this card has been flawless in Windows 10.I wanted to write this review as some of the recent reviews have been very negative.I got this card because I'm familiar with both Vantec and Marvell and both have never let me down.I'm using RAID 0 with two SSDs as I wanted the extra drive size and speed. I backup frequently so no problem here.The card is twice the speed (tested with Crystal Disk Mark) in read/write operations than my motherboard's older onboard SATA III because the card is taking advantage of hooking up two PCI lanes versus one like the Motherboard.I did however need to try different PCI slots on the motherboard in order for two PCI lanes to be utilized. The PCIx4 and one of the PCIx16 slots only resolved to one lane being used for some reason. In the end I lucked out with using a different PCIx16 slot to see the full potential of this card.I'm glad I purchased this card and foresee getting more years out of my aging system because of it. Be flexible with trying different PCI slots if you don't see speed gains and I suspect you will be happy too.I've had no drive disconnects running the system 16 hours a day for almost a week. If I do, this review will be edited.

Works as expected, setup was quick and easy on my Windows 10 PC.Running two 256GB mSATA drives from donor laptops in a RAID 0 for fast loading games =oP

I bought one of these to aid raid to my home archives. I've had it for 3 years with no issues and recently expanded with a second. Overall i'm happy with this product and recommend it. Performance is good, configuration seamless.
