Looks awesome!
It looks great and has a lot of functions. The only negative is I wish the night light wasn't so bright or had settings to make it dimmer.

Works very well for partially Deaf and heavy sleeper
I bought this when the snooze button on my Skull themed Sonic Alert clock stopped working. It was a little bit more expensive, but I really like space, so I went with it and I love it. I can use it as a lamp with varying degrees of brightness (although I wish I could change the color to a little less white), I can set two alarms, and I can still plug my phone into it at night when I need to. It has “nature sounds” as an alarm setting as well as a record-your-own voice thing but I haven’t used those. The sound does not wake me up no matter what so I save my roommates the headache and just use the vibration. I was worried it would not wake me up because it was smaller and lower voltage than my old one, but I was pleasantly surprised and while I still occasionally sleep through it, it’s definitely not as often as I thought I would. I also like that you can have the light on for a set period of time before it auto-shuts off if you use the “sleep” function. Overall very worth it and when this one goes out I’m buying a new one.

Moon glow as a nite lite
It's the coolest thing to have a 6 inch glowing moon night lite. Another awesome plus is the alarm actually has wolves howling as a wake-up alarm!!!! A liitle bit overloading with the instructions but take it one step at a time and FOLLOW the steps and all will be "howling" well!

Lots to like, but may be useless in some ways for some folks.
My moon-loving adolescent daughter has high-frequency hearing loss (up to 1500 Hz) in both ears, and so the only alarm clock that worked for her was a battered one I had as a teen in the '80s with a low frequency...or one with a radio, which anyone who's ever fallen asleep during a car trip can sleep through. The first thing I did last night when getting this (yes, we've only tried it for one night, but I'll update this if needed) was to plug it in; the included battery was dead on arrival. I also tested the alarm function, and unless it is turned way up it is too high for probably most people with HFHL to hear, even with the tone adjustment dial. The 'nature sounds' is extremely high-pitched birds, so same thing. (An ocean or thunderstorm would be a nice option.) Being that I didn't want to wake the rest of the family or traumatize the dog, I turned down the sound entirely and placed the vibrating pad between the mattress and box spring. This morning my daughter was all smiles. The vibrate woke her up (and the dog jumped off the bed), but it wasn't like it startled her and dumped her out onto the floor. The moon flashed on and off to add to the effect. If she's grumpy later today, it won't be from lack of sleep. Now, the other functions. There is an auxiliary part where you can plug in a radio/stereo, but from what I could tell it simply is an amplifier. It is not set up to turn on when the alarm goes off. Same thing with the USB port; if you want to play your music from your iPhone it will work, but it won't kick on at the appointed time. Guess that's just one more thing to get up for. It is unclear whether the USB port will charge your device. One neat feature is that you also can set this clock to make sounds and/or display a lit-up moon for a certain amount of time. I liked this because I was able to set it for 30 minutes, and when the light went off it was a signal that it was time for lights out. Goodnight, moon.I hope this clock lasts a long time. It is years before she heads off to college, but it is a good option for heavy or hard-of-hearing sleepers who don't want to wake up the entire floor. Roommates, I suppose, can wear sleep masks. Four stars.

Awesome but came sounding like siren head (not joking)
The media could not be loaded. I love sonic alerts alarm clocks I have had them on and off for many years being a deep sleeper/working early shifts they are loud and wake me up easily. So I went to get a new one and I’m going for like a space theme in my bedroom and for the first ten minutes it was working fine then it just turned off and wouldn’t turn back on when it finally did it started making almost a heart beat sound then when I went to test the Alarm it starting sound like siren head and won’t let me adjust the tone or volume kinda freaked me out so I’m gonna return this one for a new one. Other than the whole siren head thing it’s a cool clock 10 out of 10 I would buy again.

Not everything came in the box
EDIT*After contacting the seller/sonic alert company they sent me out the shaker portion right away. After using the alarm a couple times we find that my son may or may not wake up with it (extremely deep sleeper). The sound part of the alarm is plenty loud even though he slept through it I woke to it in a different room (raising concern for smoke/carbon alarms) overall good little alarm.I ordered the alarm for my son who is hard of hearing and specifically ordered it with the shaker feature because of this even though it cost more. It arrives today with no shaker! He is disappointed because he was excited to get his first alarm clock.
